It was Halloween when I registered so I started the day by going to school in my costume of Alex from the movie A ClockWork Orange. During and after school I hung out with my friend drudgejr, Musica, and her boyfriend of the time, Ju$tin. We planned to go to Manhattan that night and meet up with MetalGoldKnight, so I went home and changed out of my costume into some real clothes, and registered on MF while there. Musica also had to go to get a Gold Ring that MetalGoldKnight had left at her house a few months earlier that she had only recently found so we could give it back to him when we saw him.

MetalGoldKnight gave us a call from some random guy's cell phone. He had to stay late after school because he was taking a driving class there and supposedly that was the first class where the instructor actually took him out driving in public. Anyway we agreed to meet outside the giant GameCube at Union Square in Manhattan, and then the student whose phone MetalGoldKnight had borrowed wanted to talk to me. He asked if I was the famous Derek- he and several other people from MetalGoldKnight's high school knew me through chat rooms MetalGoldKnight would set up. He seemed to mock me, talking to me as if I were some kind of weird super-nerd, and I ended the conversation as quickly as possible.

So, me, drudgejr, Musica, and Ju$tin went to Manhattan and met with MetalGoldKnight, who was wearing a black cloak as his costume. Supposedly his full costume was an all black face mask and black gloves, but he decided not to wear that to Manhattan.

Drudgejr decided to play a prank on MetalGoldKnight, saying that Musica had told him to hold the Gold Ring and he had accidently dropped it onto the subway tracks. MetalGoldKnight got really upset and attacked drudgejr, who quickly dodged out of the way of MetalGoldKnight's punches. Drudgejr fired a few bullets from his gun at MetalGoldKnight, but most of them didn't penetrate his skin, only making holes in his black cloak. MetalGoldKnight started firing blasts of concentrated dark energy at drudgejr, which drudgejr also dodged and then countered by throwing an incendiary grenade that burned off MetalGoldKnight's cloak. Tired of seeing them fight, Musica revealed that drudgejr had been playing a joke and made him give MetalGoldKnight his Gold Ring back. Drudgejr then left to go to a concert he had been planning to see.

The remaining four of us went to a pizza place for dinner, and walked around the city for a while, occasionally fighting off brigands that got in our way. Sometimes Ju$tin would opt not to fight and instead just bribe the brigands to leave us alone by throwing gold coins at them. Finally, we took a train back up to Yorktown, and Musica went home, while me and MetalGoldKnight went to Ju$tin's house fur the night.

The day I registered for MF:

It was an average Wednesday, and that morning I woke up and went to Salesian, the high school I was attending at the time. The school day was boring up until Lunch, when a loser student named Charles Pirannio challenged another loser student named Charles Nicholes to a fist fight in the parking lot of New Roc (a mall in New Rochelle a few blocks from the school) that Friday. Me and most other students in the school made fun of both Charleses a lot, and they both would always argue with each other, and they're both extremely physically weak, so nearly everyone at the school found the prospect of the two of them fighting hilarious. The two Charleses also kept threatening each other about the fight for the rest of the day like they were tough guys, which made it even more funny.

That afternoon, I went home from school, and went online. Musica's brother IMed Derek saying that anyone who had a Pokemon icon was a superfriend, and Derek and I both had Pokemon icons at the time, so we both warned him on AIM as revenge.

I also visited the site MatrixFans.net and found out the SN of the guy who runs it, and IMed Drudgejr giving him that SN. Drudgejr then played a prank on the guy by saying he was Phillip Wise and that IGN wanted to buy MatrixFans.net forums from him. The guy believed Drudgejr and actually made an update to the site announcing that Phillip Wise contacted him saying IGN would be buying his site, but Drudgejr revealed he was playing a prank shortly afterwards, much to the guy's embarassment.

Drudgejr, Derek, and I did a three-way phone call, something we did practically every day back then, which concluded with us watching and making fun of the new episode of Star Wars: Clone Wars, in which Yoda fought Robots.

I got off the phone in order to go and eat dinner. After that I went back online, and that night I went to a Brigade Chat (the Brigade was a group of people from Derek's school who I chatted with online sometimes) and a JC Chat, in which some JCers persuaded me to finally register an account for MF. I went to sleep shortly after that.

AFTERMATH

The next day was April Fools' Day.

A huge disappointment came that day when, in last period Math class, Pirannio revealed that him saying he would fight Nicholes was simply an April Fools' Joke.

The guy who runs MatrixFans.net also used April Fools Day a way to cover up the fact that he had been fooled, saying that the announcement he had made the previous day about IGN wanting to buy his site was simply an April Fools joke on his part.

Charles Nicholes' picture was taken a few days after that, and to this day continues to be a template for MS Paint and photoshop pranks. He has red-brown hair, a chubby face with a vacant expression, and glasses, and he appears in several of the pictures Derek has posted here on MF.
