TorrentSpy search engine has decided to protect it's users privacy by denying Americans use to their search engines. Apparently, the MPAA were trying to demand they turn over all users of their page by tracking everyone that accessed their site. Instead of doing so, they gave a big to the lawyers and just closed up shop to the americans.

I noticed that about Torrentspy.... that is where I went for torrents damn it! Anyone got an extra invite to demonoid???

I seem to remember torrentspy banning the search words "star wars" and the like when either Sith or Clones came out... lasted not too long though. I tried to google it and refresh my recollection but didnt really see anything w/ a quick search, only this latest news.

i like http://www.mininova.org/ .....for no particular reason, just started going there after the old supernova shut down. If i cant find what i'm looking for there, i've had good luck http://btjunkie.org/ as they always seems to return lots of results for less common files.
