Don't know if anyone here reads any manga, but I have recently picked up one called Death Note.

Its an awesome read and I never thought I would get into manga at all but its a great place to start. Any other readers on here?

I haven't read the manga but the anime on youtube is pretty cool. Not sure how many episodes there are, I think my friend is up to #16 (this is episode 1 which I've seen, pretty cool stuff):

I watched that last night and started watching a few of them on youtube. They are pretty true to the manga. It is so well written.
They made a movie for this and I think it is going to be out in the US sometime in the near future. They are still releasing the manga in English. Volume 11 is out in May, 12 in July. I can't wait
