All we need now is some music

After the trailers, endless pictures, tv spots, Trivial Pursuit Spots, action figures, posters, toys, promo shots, interviews, there is only one thing left that we all know that truly makes Star Wars: Music. The only thing that has yet to be leaked for us to be spoiled from is the music.

Yep, music. I don't care who has leaked footage of the Yoda vs. Sidious duel, it will be monkey's ass without the music.

Personally, the music of Star Wars is probably it's greatest virtue. I can feel completely badass and completely heartbroken depending on the music of the movies. If I listen to the Imperial March I feel like I can rule the world, if I hear Across the Stars, Yoda's Theme, etc, I can just as easily burst into tears.

The thing is, the music makes Star Wars. Lucas tells the story, Williams provides the emotion.

We can sit on our pc's and say "HOT DAMN!" "HOLY SHIT" F****** AWESOME!" at every new ROTS product we recieve, but in the end it's nothing. Go ahead and read the comic, the novel, the audio novel, trailers; it won't do nothing, but tell you the story. Just wait for the music to come out and you'll have the same emotional feeling the first time you watch Star Wars.

So put your arguments aside for now on whats cool and whats not, wait for music and combine it with your videos and see what you get; if your unable to do that, wait till May 19th as I am.

And bring a box of kleenex and a roll of toilet paper; one for your tears, and the other for the shit in your pants.

There's some thing starting Monday on Sony's site regarding the soundtrack. Maybe snippets or (hold your breath) the music video for Battle of the Heroes?
