Obi-Wan and Anakin's Relationship

After reading the ROTS novel, I have noticed Obi-Wan and Anakin are a lot more closer than they were last time we saw them? How would you guys class it? Is it a Xena/Gabrielle relationship, or a Frodo/Sam? Personally I am going with the Frodo/Sam one, since these two have gone through hell together, and have bonded to the point where they are like brothers. I think George did a great job making these two really close without turning them gay, because it really shines through Anakin's fall to the Darkside and the tragedy behind the falling of a close friendship - something I did not get the impression of in Episodes 1 and 2. It really saves Anakin's fall since to me his relationship with Padme was butchered in the movies.

There's a few moments in the ROTS novel that make them seem kinda gay, like Anakin is Frodo, and Obi-Wan is the Oh-So-Fruity Sam...
