If you Could Download the Actual Movie, Would You?

Postby Google » April 28th 2005 8:30 pm

No, I don't have it. I downloaded a file off of limewire that said it was but it doesn't play; not even with VLC.

I was just wondering how spoiled people are willing to get.

PS if anyone knows the name of a real file or torrent, feel free to post or PM me.

I love limewire pro, and the movie will appear on there, but not before it shows up on torrents and IRC... and certainly not this soon before release. ;)

Sorry for posting a thread that some people think is stupid. I'm glad some of you are using it seriously.

Yes I did come over here from TFN several months ago as I am sure a good percentage of the users here did, but I haven't gone back since!

It'd be so great if messageboards had a polling feature, where if enough people voted, you could make one of these douchebag's computers explode.

Democratic Darwinism.

Just to make a serious post becuase I'm bored: I might download it before it's out just to help people out around here, but I won't watch it until I see it in theaters (which will be before the 19th anyway).

Hey,

Before you have your shithole, TFN, abortion of a thread deleted, here are some other great topics you should post about:

- Stormtroopers vs. Orcs: Who would win?

- What's your favorite Star Wars toy?

- Doesn't it suck when Mom abandons you at the theater all night LOL?

- Help me, I'm a fuckwad.

Good luck and welcome to MF.

I don't see why anyone would want to see some crappy camcorded version this close to the release. That would spoil the movie experience at least for me. Nah, I want to see the movie on the big screen for the first time. Maybe then I would consider downloading the movie if it was of decent quality.

Not all pirated movies are done with camcorders. The good ones are done by those who have access to a print of the film; I think they "scan" it into their computers (though, I'm not sure what equipment does this). I got a great copy of Sin City that was pirated that way. The pictures is a little crappy, but the sound is good.

Still, unless you have a personal home theater I don't see it as worth it. If you do on the other hand and get a hold of a great quality version then I don't see why not. Although I would feel better if I at least paid once to see it.

Really? I wouldn't. Though, I would pay to see it anyways, cuz my little 17" monitor is no comparison to the HUGE picture and Surround Sound of my local theathre :)

holy crap. 42"? That wouldn't fit on my desk!

Damn... I thought that Apple's 30" display was big...
I could never use a monitor that big. I'd have to move the mouse three feet to get from one side to the other!

That's a lot bigger than the TV in here... geez.

Doesn't match up to my 60" in the living room, of course. ;)
