Well no shit, I wasn't talking about the "official" copy.

The whole movie will hit the torrents this weekend no doubt. Remember they caught that motard that released the new Dr. Who screener "Rose." I'd hate to be seeder #1 on this torrent -- that's who LFL is going to trace it back to and go after.

The time code on that clip is 1:48 into the movie, just right before all hell breaks loose.

The clip is actually 48 minutes into the movie, not 1 hour 48 minutes.
My guess is, given the anamorphic squeeze of the image and the timecode, this is taken from something to do with the dvd - either a tape made for screening while recording commentaries, or some such thing.
In post-production for films, tapes are striped with timecode where the hour indicates what the reel number is. So if this show is broken into 2 reels for the dvd process (the end of reel 1 would likely be the layer change on the dvd) then what we're seeing is reel 1, 48 minutes in. Say reel 1 ended at 1:55:15:10.
The next frame would be 1:55:15:11, right? Well, in post production, the next frame, which would be frame 1 of reel 2 would be 2:00:00:00. Get it?

Maybe, but for all we know, it could be a deleted scene as well.

Can someone verify this that has already seen the movie?
