Thanks for doing that, DP. At 7:10 in the video is Clone Wars Season Three Bootleg Trailer. It maybe the one for Celebration V.

Speaking of which, there is a C5 Trailer for the event at the OS. It contains a new shot of the mysterious VR Troopers: Hello, non-Fett clones? Does anyone else think that the VR guys are different from the Fett clones or am I going crazy?

They do look different but that might not mean they're not Fett-related. They may be a new model drawn up to be the bridge between the clone-cadet aged clones and the fully matured clones. I see similarities in the nose and brow, but the face is definitely thrown off by the lighting inside the helmet.

If they are different, it'll be interesting to see how they explain making a new template so early into the war.

That looks really interesting although I'd rather see them show some more space action - S2 was really lacking in that department. The Kamino action looks interesting though, looks like the next big thing after the Senate affairs in S2.

The VR Troopers appear to possess facial features resembling Anakin with non-Clone accents.

Facially, the VR clones are like a cross between Anakin than the Fett guys. I was I could make out what the one soldier is yelling. He sounds like an American G.I. Joe to me.

Celebration V Sweepstakes featuring leaked Star Wars Weekends 2010 footage. The VR Troopers appear to be Virtual Reality Avatars. Sort of the Clone Wars CGI version of the X-Men's Danger Room.

Some new info from Mrs. Eckstein:

“There is something with Ahsoka in Season 3 that unfortunately I’m not allowed to [reveal] yet. But it definitely goes along with the theme that she [matures] a lot more,” Eckstein said. They’re giving her more responsibility in Season Three. And there’s going to be some connections to the old saga as well.”

“She’s becoming more and more like Anakin, which could be good or bad. We’ll see.”

BTW, the Luke t-shirt she designed is pretty slick.

Defenders Of The Republic Cover (starwars.wikia.com)

Notice the cover shows a lot of what was featured in the leaked Star Wars Weekend 2010 preview.

Image

Penguin Books the publlisher of the Defenders novel inadvertently revealed the info:

Based on the TV movie event that will launch Season 3 of the Star Wars: The Clone Wars television series in October 2010, this novel follows a group of clone troopers as they rise through the ranks from cadets, to rookies, and all the way to elite ARC troopers.

Which lead to the publisher to backpeddle on the leaked info:

“That information is incorrect, and due to internal miscommunication, it slipped out without being properly vetted”

Leaked Hasbro Marketing Calendar which also confirmed the TV Movie Event.

The animated phase 2 armor looks awesome! It doesn't even look animated, but more like the realistic clones from the movies.
