source: AICN Possible TV Score News

• Eric Rigler, pipesman from Braveheart and Titanic, just finished recording music for a starwars TV series.

• "Each of the planets has its own theme, and the one he was brought in to develop music for was patterned after Bulgaria (bagpipe-like instrument)."
• "He also said he was told the series - his episode would be airing Summer 2008"

My preference would be The Prequel Trilogy scores be used for The Clone Wars and the Original Trilogy scores for The Live-Action series.

The use of movie Star Wars scores for the Cartoon Network Clone Wars Micro-Series made the shorts that much better.

I agree, they can make modifications to the play of the music, and keep production costs down, allows for better animation (we hope).
