Will open on 17th December, a day ahead of anywhere else.

actually you can go to France and see it on the 16th. I still don't get why it wouldn't open in USA first. I could forgive UK getting it first, but not France

On the other hand there are a few members here from France who could get a early viewing and inform us of how it went.

Here in Thailand, TFA opens on December 17th but usually they showing special preview for any major features to general audiences earlier (8.00pm on December 16th), so I guest that we'll get to see TFA several hours ahead of France.
