I didn't want to be too specific in the thread title, but Jiang Wen just revealed that Donnie Yen's character will die during the Rogue One panel at Celebration. He clearly realized he'd fucked up almost as soon as he said it, but Donnie Yen's reaction sitting next to him just confirmed it.

Christ, that was hard to watch. I felt so bad for all of them, but especially for Jiang Wen, who clearly had difficulty answering the question because of his limited English. That dude was so nervous. Hopefully, Disney's spoiler cops go easy on him, but I feel bad for all the non-spoiler fans in that auditorium who just got blindsided.

I just watched it, and didn't catch that. Maybe they already censored it?

The early rumor was that Jyn and her team all die at the end.

Some believe this is one of things Disney intends to change.
