Source of the pics is someone called THeMPIRE, but that account has only 5 posts so probably it's someone's alterego.

HLAS first brought this up, but the eyeball has nothing to do with Ep3. It's an unused TPM concept that Pablo found in the archives. It was explained in a set diary.

Awesome pics! Thought the obi in the small cave opening was kind of interesting. And was that Bail's speeder we see? Looking good!

I like that Bail's speeder is getting the OT once-over - little non-descript, multi colored buttons, big levers, etc. while still retaining the PT shape.

The control panels have really taken a step back in terms of appearance.

I know this is being done to correspond to what we see in the OT, but the technology seems to have regressed fifty years.

It's SENATOR MOT NOT RAB. It's from TPM. Basically, this character was two in one.

Interesting talk about the "look" of Darth Sidious. Does this imply he removes his hood at some point, and the whole head is seen maybe?

You'd think they'd pretty much already know what they were gonna do for ol' Sid, but this makes it sound like a few new takes on that were tossed around (I'm betting the red coloring, tattoos, and brainiac skull were the modifications they made from the original Pseudo-Sidious design).

Pseudo Sidious. Wasn't that a Phil Collins song? :?

I just can't see any correlation between this guy and Sidious...? I think that caption is all wrong.

Note the similar foreheads and the area under the eyes.

I was actually thinking more about the top of the head. I just can't imagine the Emperor having those horny/twilek looking apendages. I agree though the eyes and forehead have some similarities.

Nazgul, no way.

It was just a concept for Darth Sidious with parts n pieces that got reworked, and turned into an alien Senator.

I agree. However, Palpatine can't be human. Look at that forehead.

I don't care if he's 10,000 years old. That's not a human forehead.

Not really.

Is he a man that transforms into a monster (Dr. Jekyl/Mr. Hyde) or a monster (alien) disguising himself as a man (human)?

To answer that question you only have to look to Darth Vader.

The most powerful people are just that: people. But people that became monsters.

I'm pretty sure that was confirmed by one of the celebs in their Hyperspace chat.

I might be wrong about where I heard it, but I know this has been revealed before.
