That will be one of the coolest sequences ever in SW: Palpatine, R2, Anakin and Obi-Wan all trying to safely crash-land a giant warship. :monocle:

Cool pictures!

This was in a Dutch magazine this morning. Nothing new, but I'd thought I'd post it anyway.

Episode 3 is going a bit further on all fronts. We have shot in 7 different country's, on 72 sets, thats more then in any Starwars movie so far. In total ROTS has 2200 special effects shots, that's twice as much as Rotk. Time is running out, before April another 600 shots need to be finished.

So nothing actually over cody.

A hopefully better image. I tried to work it some in PS but I'm pretty crap in that.

Edit: The original image isn't doing well either, its pretty thin paper and moving it around hurts it quite alot.

That's the first shot I can think of with multiple Morrison clones. It's almost funny. First thing that came to my mind was City of Lost Children.

The clone with the scar should say "Fuck you gonna do now, Kenobi?"

Either that or "How am I gonna get a scar like this eating pussy, mang?"

Publicity photo sessions versus a professional cinematographer.

I wouldn't worry about his look in the movie.

sorry to burst your bubble. The costumes are CG.

Morrison wore a blue suit. Just his head was used in all those shots.

Congrats: You officially cannot complain about CG in this movie :)

Yep. ILM has to model a costume for scenes containing clone armies anyway, it's not that much more cost to render it for mid close ups.

how much could it cost lucas to make a couple real clonetrooper costumes?

What does it matter? Not only did he do it for cheaper, but he fooled you (and many, many others) into believing it was a 'real' costume.

Yep, I thought the close-up scenes of the clones in AOTC were actors in costume, untill i read somewhere that they were all CG!

Thanks for the new pics man, they're great!

Yeah, although there was one photo with Palpatine and Vader standing against blue screen, with McCallum holding a clapboard, and in that photo he looked exactly like he did in ROTJ.

Palps does look fat in that pick and the make up is iffy. I hope to god he looks better in the final film 'cause I dont want another screw up where such an important character looks completely different. Like yoda in tpm.

Palps looks great in all the film stills...it's just the lighting in the publicity shots that make him look different. ROTJ palps was never lit extremely well...but now the makeup has to stand up to the scrutiny of crystal clear hi-res publicity shots with bright lights.

I've never thought of it that way. The dark side is supposed to be slowly killing him so maybe you have a point. But the fact remains that palpy looks fat in that pic.

The opposite seems to be closer to the truth.

Are you saying the dark side is keeping him alive?

In the official star wars site it says that his connection to the dark side is slowly killing him.

Hey Tern,

Is there anything in the movie that tells us a bit more about Palp's history? From what I've read it seems like the story he tells Anakin is kinda like a "Once Upon a Time..."

I'd really love to hear what's the deal is with Palps...
