ROTS Trading Cards [scans]

Postby foxbatkllr » March 29th 2005 9:52 pm

I just picked up a pack of ROTS trading cards at my local Wal-Mart...they actually wouldn't ring up so the confused cashier just asked how much they were and I made up a price so she could ring them up. I know, BFD considering we have the graphic novel and audio novelizations, etc. but there are some new bits in these images like the STAP droids and Plo Koon's fighter, as well as some new ship on coruscant.

I wonder if there are gonna be regular trading cards for this movie... the ones for AOTC came out early at my local WalMart.

Nice to see a finished version of that Republic Dropship that was featured in the concept art pdf files. And I remember seeing a concept art of a yellow version of the Republic military airspeeder in the Ep. III game doc on the OT DVD set.

Those Acclamator II class Assault Ships, are they supposed to be the precurssor to the Star Destroyers or are there OT-style SD's in RotS?

Probably just a Mark II subclass, like the Imperial Mk II and the Victory Mk II.

Sweet scans. The only thing I'm noticing: No pics of the new Stardestroyers. I wonder why there so little about them out there yet. Or have I just not found it yet?

I got some real trading cards (not card game) packs tonight... not a whole lot of new stuff, but some. I'll try to get some stuff up tonight.
