Blue George Lucas in Costume from Making Of Book

Postby obi-ben » April 18th 2005 3:37 pm

If some of his dialogue in the past 2 movies wasn't proof enough, this just goes to show that George has been watching WAY too fucking many episodes of 'The Smurfs' with his kids...

Actually, I'm glad he's finally putting himself in the movie. Let's just hope he doesn't speak. Anyone remember that cameo in Beverly Hills Cop III?

Perhaps I'm wrong but I remember seeing pictures of him being significantly slimmer in between EP2 and EP3.

I'll believe it. Suppose they get the occasional Ian McCaig? Peter Mayhew?

Hes not as young as he used to be - bless him! Good on him though for painting himself up blue and getting on the big screen! Better not be a blue screen scene hes in - all we will see is his hair and beard!

Fuck it irks me when people tag on his chin...

Jesus, he's not that big. More often than not, half the people attacking him are fatter than George will EVER be. This weightphobia we have in America is insane.

George was a handsome young guy, and he's aged pretty well if you ask me. Everyone gets old and changes.

Didn't know he was diabetic...is that true? That's one more reason to admire him.

What's a few extra pounds man, hasn't he earned them?

Yeah, I thought he was diabetic too.

Either way, we're probably not the most well turned out bunch of people on the planet, so instead we should probably make fun of the fact that he's a self made billionaire and a successful single father.

If he is a diabetic, a few extra pounds could kill him. Too much weight makes the condition worse. My dad was diagnosed with Adult Onset Diabetes and he's been on a diet ever since, to help control his sugar levels.

because when people can't control their eating, smoking, and drinking habits they get ill. When they get ill they use their insurance, then insurance premiums skyrocket for the rest of us who have self control and are healthy. Fat people are also fun to make fun of, sorry if your sensitive to it, in the great words of Tomy Soprano " I think it's time you you tried salad" or something to that effect

I have diabetes. It is very very diffcult to lose weight having diabetes, and can be dangerous. The diets diabetics go on, are not so they lose weight, it will be purely to control glucose levels in the blood. Glucose levels in the blood have no correlation to weight. Because of this you need more carbs for energy, than sugars, which turn into fat in your body hence its very easy to pile on weight if you are diabetic.

Give the guy a break.

Stan,

Total generalization. True, lots of overweight folk could improve their willpower and health, but many are affected regardless for genetic or other reasons.

I don't mind a fat joke here and there, just like any racial joke, but damn--I just get tired of "DUDE HE'S FUCKIN' FAT!" or "LAY OFF THE CHEETOS!" or "LOOK AT THOSE GODAMNED CHINS!" everytime George pops into a photo. It's not like he looks like the guy that gets his shit kicked in in Seven...but you'd swear he was by some of the comments. Especially coming from internet geeks, who are more often than not packing their own extra inner-tube around.

It's just a cheap shot to attack him for something else, I say. The "fat fuckin' bastard ruined my OT!!!!"

Look, money or not, personal cheap shots are personal cheap shots. And people who take personal cheap shots on the internet are low-life pussies. Say it to the man's face or shut the fuck up.

You want to criticize somebody's work or lifestyle, fine, but have a point and something to back it up.

I think I´ve had his hair-style a couple of times. It was just how my hair stayed without any touching up. Weird. O__o
