[MF] Anakin & Palpatine opera scene from ABC Video

Postby frude_dude » May 2nd 2005 11:15 pm

During an ABC interview with HC, they showed a clip of Anakin and Palpatine's conversation during the opera, talking about power. As far as I know this hasn't been previously shown or talked about yet.

It is streaming audio and video and is free (when it is playing, click on the left icon to enlarge).

The interview kinda sucks but the clip is definitely worthwhile.

Here is a link: http://makeashorterlink.com/?K5132120B
and if that doesn't work try going to comcast.net and look under fan videos.

curious. I'm not even on Comcast right now and I'm not logged in. It is just recognizing me as guest.

if there is a simple way, let me know and I'll make a clip and upload it.

1. http://www.hayden4reel.com/Sith.htm
2. Click on "III"
3. Scroll down the page
4. Click on link that says "Gooooo" at the bottom of the page
5. Click on ROTS "Page 2"

---------

wasnt this the GMA segment?

Yes. Is there a thread on it already?

Christensen says, "The movie is amazing. Its all I thought it could be."

Hmmm....

At first glance, that sounds like a complement, but the word "amazing" is a qualifier for an adjective, and not actually used as an adjective. His second statement, "its all I thought it could be" is also misleading. Perhaps he didnt think much of the movie in the first place, after he initially read the script.

I wish he had said something like, "its a fantastic movie! its better than I thought it would be."

Maybe I am being too critical of his comments, but when an actor doesnt come straight out, and say a movie is great, that's usually a bad sign.

I think you're reading too much into his comments... I doubt very much that he thought too much beforehand about the structure of the sentence he was gonna say...

He said it is amazing! nuff said.

HC did say that they had just seen the film for the first time the night before, and had been out partying all morning.
Hayden and Nick looked pretty tired to me.
I doubt they had any sleep before they got there.
NG made a comment about partying all night afterwards.
I think Hayden was genuine about liking the movie, just a little partied out.

Wow, it appears you're right. I just looked in my dictionary and you're absolutely correct.

It also says "Greymarch" is a qualifier for an asshole. Fancy that.

You're a dumbass. :)

This isn't scramble, dude. There's no hidden messages. Stop trying to play a fuckin linguist psychologist, because Hayden isn't either.

Jesus... did watching the geek try to fence with Nick Gillard make anyone else cringe?

Other than that, excellent clip!

And somewhere Master Replica's sits back, laughing and couting the $$ rolling in from their Action FX Lightsabers.

Nice Clip, though, it's interesting to finally get the Sith Perspective on the whole conflict. He almost makes it sound right to do what he's about to do.
