Well, I haven't been over to the JC@TNF since I saw this but with this in mind, I wonder if part of Palps "sanitation" of the jedi involves ordering that all force sensative children born hence forth be aborted... I know that'd piss me off if I were a woman and was about to have jedi children... And it would also explain that wild rumor from last year that stated that after Anakin crossed over, no more jedi children were born... Hah, they're being aborted/sanitized as part of imperial order.

Slightly off-topic but I am still intrigued as to what extent palps knows about the pregnancy.

If he did then Padme is important to his aims. I would think he would do everything to ensure her whereabouts were monitoried. If he somehow knows of her trip to Mustafar could Palps own rumoured arrival on Mustafar been motivated by something more than simply retrieving Anakin? Maybe he's fully expecting a dead Obi-Wan and a captured Padme, but instead finds a withered Anakin.

There's something about that trailer shot of the naboo skiff racing out of the lava planet that makes me think a chase is occuring.

Mmm, this is the odd thing: he knows Padme is carrying the child of the Chosen One, yet there is no evidence through spoilers at all on his plans for the child, nor if Palps even refers or speaks to Padme at all in the movie.

There must be an alternative plan for her and the child's fate in the New Order?
