Dear Fandango Customer,

Thank you for your recent purchase on Fandango for the highly anticipated movie Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith.

Unfortunately, due to a programming error at the theatre you purchased tickets for, the show time you purchased for is incorrect. Please bring your Fandango purchase confirmation page and the ticket redemption method indicated on it to the theatre you purchased for at your earliest convenience and speak with a theatre manager. The theatre management will be happy to assist you with resolving this issue. The Fandango service fee for your order will be refunded to your credit card within the next three business days.

If you do not have a copy of your Fandango purchase confirmation page please visit the My Account section of our site at http://www.fandango.com/Logon.aspx. Once you have logged in to your account you will be able to view and print a copy of all your successful Fandango orders.

We apologize for this inconvenience and sincerely hope that you will continue to use Fandango for your future movie ticketing needs. Please note that replies to this email will not be read. If you need to contact Fandango customer support please visit http://fandango.custhelp.com and click on the ‘Contact Customer Service’ tab.

I've heard that happen several times. I hope you get it all straightened out. Also know that Fandango over sells tickets too. Just because you got one, doesn't mean you're getting in.

I used fandango for my midnight showing tickets. No trouble so far. I'll keep my fingers crossed, though.

Similar thing happened to me using movietickets.com
I placed an order and it never ended up going through. When I called customer service, they said they had a computer overload with all the people trying to order star wars tickets and the system couldn't keep up, thus selling tickets that weren't available, etc.

Lucky for me, my order bounced back due to the problem so I didnt get charged for nothing......and I did get tickets at the theater itself, so all is good...

tickettaker: i will give you a midnight ticket.

What's the verdict aBa? And seriously, why did you wait so long to buy tickets?

I didn't....I bought tickets on April 17th...i've just been too busy to pick them up.

As it turns out, that was a cautionary letter sent out to all that bought from that particular theater, there was no problem with my tickets, as the manager swiped my card through, and the tickets showed up.

PROBLEM SOLVED, CRISIS AVERTED.
