So far, this has been quiet an interesting show.

Looking at all the developments, and thinking back to the state of robotics when the first Star Wars was released, it makes you wonder where we'll be 30 years from now.

That exoskeleten was VERY reminiscent of Vader....I wonder if the guy did it on purpose. And I have to say that Nick Hazo kid is a pretty smart motherfucker. I'd be interested to know if he makes it into the DARPA competition.

And Emily, the "nursebot" = Rosie the Robot from The Jetsons. But I don't know which was scary, that hick woman that she took care of, or the robot itself. It was actually very creepy.

It seems like the Star Wars factor is a little too tacked on to me, like they're jsut taking any technological thing and applying Star Wars to it.

I was hoping they'd do a show where they would look at Star Wars technology and talk about if any of it would ever be possible.

Nevertheless, still an entertaining show.

Yeah, but "Robo-naut" totally has a fucking Mandalorian helmet for a head. DOES HE NOT?

It just goes to show that Star Wars fan boys do work everywhere. And they'll put a homage to Star Wars in anything they do.

I also have to say that the humor was very welcome. It was very much old school Star Wars feeling. I actually enjoyed the little play with Anthony Daniels.

Some of the 3PO-dumb robot humor was pretty damn funny.

The little white one saying "Spank you" instead of "Thank you" and 3PO repsonding "I'd like to spank you!".

Heheh that was actually the funniest thing I've seen in a while.

That was actually funnier than shit. 3PO holding that little robot guy with his arms and legs moving around. Also, the bit with Tony Daniels arguing with 3PO was sort of funny, mainly due to my buzzing on cold medicine and scotch last night.
