....I wouldn't upload it anyways

Just be glad they don't do it like in the old days of starwars.com anti-piracy with an encrypted mov header in one file and the meat in the other. You can't view the movie without the header. That one took me a while to work around. I ended up pasting the downloaded movie portion into an mov file with an unencrypted header like the sample.mov (you need QTPro to do this).
Or there was the one where they put the movie in your Temp folder. You couldn't do anything with it because Quicktime had it locked but then it would delete the mov from the Temp folder as soon as Quicktime closed. To work around it you "simulate" a power fail (hit the reset button on your computer) after it was downloaded, without closing QT. It never has a chance to delete the mov. After rebooting, it's still sitting in the Temp folder, but without anything accessing it.
Ahhh...good times. Now it's all just too easy.

Can this type of conversion be done and burned on to DVD so a standard DVD player can play it? The reason I ask on this forum is, of all of the forums, you guys seem to be very sharp when is comes to this sort of thing, and I really want to play this high res trailer in my theater.

Thanks!
Here's a hint - look at the filesize of the "mov" you downloaded. It's small, like 4k, right? Try having a look at it with Notepad ...
