I just wanted to remark and defend the good olde, Darth Attorney.

First off Darth Attorney has done some great things for this board! He created the Star Wars Saga Forum. This Forum is intelligent and a great place for in-depth discussion. DA did a great job moderating the board and I missed him when he became a VIP. Now it seems like DA is being attacked. DA was banned on grounds which are not bannable.
DA put "The forums in my sig might be able to help you with the leaked Episode III footage" in one of his posts. Direct links to the footage is not allowed. This however is not what DA did. All he did is have a link which helps you get to it. So therefore that is not grounds for banning.
DA was banned for something he did not deserve. I find this situation to be very unfair and unjust! DA has helped to make this site a better place. He did not break JC rules and should not have been banned. I find that some personal feelings were involved! When a leader involves feelings there will be problems. I ask that in the future a moderator or admin does not let personal issues dictate who is banned. Ban people only when they break the Forum rules, do not ban because you dislike the person.

I support Darth Attorney and I thank him for all the good he has done. If you are to ban him then he must break the rules first. Personal issues should not dictate a ban.

I also ask that you do not ban me. This thread is to defend a member who has done nothing wrong. It would be unfair and unjust to ban me for this thread. Locking this thread would also show personal feelings are involved.

I'm not trying to bash anyone. I'm just saying that Darth Attorney should not have been banned!

Are you afraid that a discussion on such a topic would turn negative about a...well maybe it would be negative about you.

This topic deserves discussion. DA is a good person and if he is going to be banned people should know why. My question is what rule did he break. If he is going to be banned for no reason who is next? If a VIP is banned for no reason then anyone could be banned. This is a major issue and it should be discussed. If we are to be banned we are to know why. Personal reasons cannot effect admin decisions that just shows poor leadership. The JCers everywhere deserve to know why someone is banned for no reason!

Basically, he had a link to these forums in his sig, said that you *might* be able to find the E3 leaked footage here. KW sent a message to Sarlacc asking if direct linking (which is wasn't) was bannable, Sarlacc said yeah. So KW banned him for "direct linking" when it wasn't as such.

Also, he edited DA's post and made it look like DA was flaming, and didn't have him remove the link from his profile or sig. He just wanted an excuse to ban him, looked like.

So then that Darth-Seldon guy IMed me asking why DA was banned, I told him the basics of it, and he randomly started a thread about it.

KW banned me at the JC the other day for saying that a link to the Marketing Footage could be found somewhere at the board at the end of the link in my sig but be had to bullshit 2 other mods and pretend he had approval from them to do it.

Seldon was banned because he had the first thread locked but restarted it to push the point. Hence an instant ban (48hrs I'd say).
