I found it interesting that AMC (formerly "American Movie Classics," now simply "Another Movie Channel") decided to show Robert Altman's MASH in widescreen, uncut and commercial free at 8:00 last night, followed by showing it again at 10:00pm pan & scan, uncut and loaded with commercials.
Also, they claimed that there would be "never before seen interviews with the cast," which never happened, and that this would be the "first time on television" that MASH would be shown uncut and restored.
The print they showed looked great, but not better than that DVD I've had for a few years now, and there was nothing about it that had never been seen on TV before.
I have no clue why I posted that. Just felt like it, I guess...
