Just to point out, (I don't care either way but) it still could be a red vs. blue duel because technically, the duel involves Obi and Vader, not Anakin. Therefore, Anakin wouldn't be using a red saber, Vader would.

So this doc confirms that both Anakin and Obi-Wan take on Dooku. But where does Grievous figure into this duel? Do they fight him before Dooku and then he escapes? Or does he appear during the Dooku duel and Obi-Wan leaves Dooku to Anakin while he fights GG? We know Obi-Wan is supposed to be knocked unconscious at some point during this fight.

If you listen closely, you can hear six new lines of dialogue (maybe seven) in the new Web Doc.

“Rest well, M’Lady.” – Captain Typho

“Thank you, Captain.” - Padme

“I’ll be back in a little while. Wait for me.” - Padme

Her second sentence is the one I'm unsure about. I think she says either "wait for me" or "you remain" to the two handmaidens. I'm not sure.


"NO!" - Bail

"What do you mean?" - Anakin

“What is a democracy without it first serving all our lives?” - Padme


Obi-Wan says something to Padme and she replies. I couldn't pick up either one though.


I feel dirty...overspoiled.

They could be from the same rough time frame (the hair is similar and both have green screen), but in the webdoc she is looking up, looking straight ahead and appears very distressed. I couldn't find a frame in the Back in Black video that matched that.

Yep, that's where it's from. It looks like they have it there for reference for the new shots for this film.

Bail walking being followed by Angelina Jolie lookalike (seen in a BTH pic) in white and some guy.

If you check the monitor in that shot, the dress of that guy seems like a Jedi for sure. And looking at the side of his head and hair, I'd have to guess that that's Obi-Wan. As per the BTH picture, the Angelina Jolie look alike is Bail's aide. They are stopped by two blue guards and are presumably questioned as to their motives (dialogue is too quiet to make out). My GUESS is that they're heading into the Senate building maybe? I think Palpatine has red guards at his office, so I don't think it's there.

Any other ideas?

Nah. Both are Bails aides. It's not Obi-Wan. In a few set diaries, Pablo mentioned that Bail had 2 aides but he never described the other one since he was always preoccupied with Caroline de Souza Correa aka the hot aide. Besides, the outfit looks nothing like Jedi robes. In fact it has shoulder pads to it.



EDIT: I do agree that Bail and his aides are entering the Senate Rotunda though when they are stopped by the blue guard. I wonder if it's just a security check or if he's been ordered to not let Bail enter.

I speculate that Senator Amidala is prepared to give a speech regarding the Supreme Chancellors emergency powers. She expects support from people like Bail Organa and Mon Mothma, but surprisingly they do not arrive. So she gives her speech before the Senate. Everything goes well until Palpatine lays the Smackdown on her. Without the help from Senator Organa or her fellow loyal comrades she is squashed before the corrupt Senate and Palpatine removes her Senatorial powers or something equally as horrific in her profession.

08/07/03 09:26:20 In the monitor is someone standing next to the Starfighter.

They are standing 10-15 feet apart facing each other.

I think Anakin's back is facing Obi-Wan. 08/07/03 11:58:00 through 11:59:40

Something seems different about this movie. I know its early, but it has an OT feel to it. Best webdoc so far.. These webdocs are one area Lucus and co. are really delivering on.
