Before declaring eternal war against all film companies and making a solemn vow not to legally purchase more movies while I have breath (and broadband connection), I'd like somebody to confirm the news. Please, tell me it's nothing but a stupid rumor!
And now, to all those who attack piracy, I'd say the following: I've downloaded stuff for years, but I always bought the tapes afterwards. I don't like DVD because you have to pay like three or four times more for the same features a crappy VCR already had, as if recording a program from TV were a luxury. Peter Jackson had no problems releasing Lord of the Rings (another top seller) on VHS. Even the extended versions. So I don't wanna hear the scarce VHS sales are not worth it. That's bullshit. I want ROTS on VHS, and I'm a costumer, and costumers are always right, huh? If you expect less sales, release LESS tapes. You won't go bankrupt. So, if you keep screwing fans, how can you whine about piracy?
THIS MEANS WAR!
