:monocle: Here's hoping for the next TPM release.

zonadvd.com has a side by side comparison of the old puppet with the new digital model that will appear on the Episode III DVD.

It's gorgeous.

The shot looks entirely new from the chair to Yoda himself. Is it just me or is the chair smaller?

^ same here, but when the two are compaired like that, you realize how bad the puppet was. You would think that they would have used a puppet yoda that at least looked like the one in the OT. Glad the change is happenning.

The CG version is a definite improvement and I'd love see it in TPM to strengthen continuity... but I'll also kinda miss that bad Yoda puppet.

Was Yoda's eye color really that dramatically different in TPM? That seems like a pretty serious fuckup.

oh, cool, we have the first new yoda picture

but. I'd love it if it didnt look exactly like the Ep. 2 and 3 Yoda. I dont know why, i just wish he looked kind of different

I like it. A 15 or so year span of an 800+ year life can't be that dramatic a change. Until he dies that is.

Indeed he looks CUTE.

That´s why I don´t like the look of the digital Yoda. They made him cute. Listen to his voice in ROTS. He even sounds cute! I didn´t like the puppets because they are puppets, but at least they looked cool. Everything in the new Yoda´s face is too round.

Cute doesn't = bang worthy weirdo  :?

Anyways, I kinda wish they SLIGHTLY change it from the E3 model. Strange to see him looking the same in all three movies, then again so did Mace.
