While that may be true, I don't believe either Spain or Ireland have anywhere near the exportation of drugs that Mexico does, and that imo will have a lot to do on whether or not Mexico will truly develop.

If Mexico gets that "developed" it will be interesting to see what happens with the whole illegal immigration thing. Would U.S. citizens start looking for work in Mexico? Or would the border disappear (figuratively) altogether?
