Worst Movies of All Time?

Postby Obi-Wan Starkiller » May 22nd 2007 7:48 am

I thought it would be nice to start a thread about what movies you guys have seen that could be considered the worst ever made. We aren't talking about the Spider-man's or Fantastic Four (although that movie from the early 90's could be considered). I'm talking about the low budget, horribly acted laugh a minute MST3K movies that you have ever seen. I found this on youtube to kind of give you an idea:

I recently saw Plan 9 from Outer Space...that was pretty bad. The worst movie i've ever seen though might be Joe vs. the Volcano. That movie was absolutely terrible.

It is interesting to go back and see Tom Hanks early movies. He certainly has changed his style from the mid to late 80's. Turner and Hooch anybody?

I'm much less forgiving to bad big budget films, or sick IMO movies, that have huge followings with praises of their wisdom and greatness, like for example 'The Green Mile'.

It's difficult to take seriously the flaws that almost always come with low budget and lack of experience from cast & crew. For fans of ridiculously stupid low budget movies I recommend Japanese live-action adaptations of fantasy animes/mangas, like Sailor Moon or Cutey Honey. But those are far from, what I would consider the worst movies.

Well, I probably needed to edit the topic name. I am refering to the "so bad they are funny movies" out there. Not the "so bad you can't even chuckle through the movie" movies. Mostly, those movies you can laugh at are low budget.

Worst movies ever: The Nail Gun Massacre and Slumber Party Massacre Two. They are so bad its hilarious. And yes, I do own them on DVD because my brother bought it for me as a joke. All I can say is go down to your local video store and try to get a copy of them. Mine has them for rent for 99 cents. You will laugh your ass off at how bad this is. I mean, how can a movie not be horrible when the killer is a homicidal guitarist that looks like Elvis and has a huge drill bit on the end of his guitar that only spins while he is playing...

Bottom line is the scene with the white mask on the back of the box just isn't in the movie at all:

I think my favorite 'bad' movie of all time has got to be Rawhead Rex.

The only low budget films that I've watched are by Kevin Smith and I love his films (except for Jersey Girl), but here's a list of some real stinkers that I can think of off the top of my head...

- Bend It Like Beckham
- any thing with Doris Day in it
- Rent

My most hated movie isn't exactly low budget so it may not be applicable, but I do consider it the worst piece of shit I've ever seen. By the way, that video is hilarious.

I found that the other day and then showed it to the other guys in my department. We found Shark Attack 3 so funny that we rented it yesterday. It is absolutely hilarious throughout. "I'm really wired. What do you say I take you home and eat your pussy".

The 60s Batman was intentionaly campy, like for example Flash Gordon from 1980 or Boorman's Excalibur. The creators of those classics knew from the get-go, they're unable to do the action, the costumes & the scenography realisticly, so they chose to make fun of the stories & characters instead.

I don't know. For my money, Batman and Robin was the funnier just because Warner Brothers didn't realize they were killing the fucking franchise. And I can't get enough Arnold puns.

Yeah, I liked Rawhead. I thought we were talking about bad movies that we liked. As far as bad movies even I don't like, other than a large number of chick flicks, the single handedly worst movie of all time has got to be The Game of Death.

Bruce Lee put this project on hold in order to make Enter the Dragon, completing only a handful of fight scenes and basically nothing else. So after he died, someone decided to capitalize on what footage there was, and turned out the worst piece of crap I've ever sat through. And I have been a huge Bruce Lee fan since 1974.

They should have just put what footage they had with Bruce together and said "Well, that's all there is" and it would have been better than what actually got released. I think it went straight to video, though. I've got it on VHS. They actually completed the movie, interchanging the main role with Bruce Lee, some guy who didn't look a bit like Bruce Lee, and, seriously, in some places, they used a card-board cut-out.

(look for the movie magic around the :24 mark)

That Bruce Lee thing is pretty bad. Here's another one. If you slow mo through the cantina scene in Episode 4, you will see a prop version of Greedo with a gun attached to his hand like a ring wired for explosion just before Han shoots. Its horrible looking.

This is the WORST FILM OF ALL TIME "PERIODE!!!!!"

Postby Jed ii GT » June 12th 2007 5:15 pm

"A Sound Of Thunder" Is the worst film of all time. So many things must be looked at to win this prize. For one thing it cost over 90 million to make. And if you can even sit through a little of it with out "PUKING CONSTANTLY" I kid you not I actually felt ILL watching it. 2 retards with an old VHS camera could do a better job filming themselves JERKING OFF!!!!! THEN THIS PIECE OF HUMAN WASTE. [img][/img]

Actually the worst movie I've ever seen is I Spit on Their Graves. Man that movie is just disturbing. It was banned in something like 100 countries. The end of the movie this lady is trying to get revenge on these guys for raping her and she cuts this dudes penis off with a knife and leaves him bleeding to death in a bathtub. Its awful and just so disgusting.

I think I have seen "I spit On Their Graves", sort of the same type of film like "Mothers Day," horrible but at least they are B budget movies. The the thing to understand is that "A Sound Of Thunder" was a big budget motion picture, with big advertising, big actors, and suppose to be a June release although it was released in late August (RED FLAG). This movie basically destroyed Edward Burns, Catherine McCormick, and Ben Kinglsy Careers and Peter Hymes who is a good director couldn't get a job directing a low budget porn flick in Mexico now. You have to see it to believe it, rent it when you are given a free one although you should be paid to watch this atrocity. I don't know how this thing got through its screenings, I have to believe that this one single movie destroyed many careers in Hollywood. The special effects look like stop motion from the 60's. It absolutely LUDICROUS. If you watch it you will need no more rationalization it will become your worst movie ever by far. I GUARANTEE IT. Make sure you don't eat to much before you watch it or at least have a big paper bag to PUKE IN. I am not JOKING. Everyone that was part of this picture SHOULD DIE......

The 1987 Masters Of The Universe movie is pretty embarrassing and obviously low budget. It's kind of cool at the start, but then they go through the cosmic portal and end up...at KFC??? What were they thinking.

I placed the Movie Poster in to show that this just wasn’t some type of 70’s or 80’s low budget B flick. It’s the only movie I ever walked out of in my whole life. I just find it amazing that a bunch of Hollywood people spent millions and then went forward with releasing this piece of feces. Just goes to show anyone can bullshit anyone in America. Read some of the reviews in Yahoo they are hilarious. [img][/img]

Two words: Good Journey ;)

If you watch through the credits, Skeletor pops up out of this water that has been dyed red and screams "I'll be back!". Ok Arnold...
