I think we see a rehearsal of the scene in the card in the latest Hyperspace webdoc, starting at 4:01. It's hard to tell, but it doesn't look that tense.

Anakin is coming out of the Antechamber in the pic as well as in the last making of doc. Palpatine is actually standing in front of the main entrance to the office.
