Those are what comes to mind now, though I could probably do a top five for every genre.

Tough question, there are so many, and very different kind of movies. To make it easier I removed Citizen Kane, Fellini's stuff, etc. from the list.

in no particular order:

Blade Runner
Metropolis (1927)
Star Wars OT & Phantom Menace
Raiders & Temple of Doom
THX 1138
The Third Man
Batman Returns
The Shadow (1994)
Mortal Kombat (I don't know why, but I always have so much fun watching it)
Howard the Duck
Pulp Fiction
Angel Heart
Raging Bull
The Last Temptation of Christ
Orlando
Monty Python and the Holy Grail
L'Ours (1988)
Once Upon a Time in America
Once Upon a Time The West
Pirates (1986)
Cul-de-sac
The Tragedy of Macbeth (1971)
The Conversation
Picnic at Hanging Rock
Memento
Matrix & Reloaded
Mary Poppins
The Tenant
Ghost in the Shell
Avalon (2001)
Nausicaä
Fight Club
City Lights
Casablanca
Barry Lyndon

...+ some movies from my country none of you probably heard of, and also some films I'm too embarassed too mention

1) A New Hope
2) Labyrinth
3) Raiders of the Lost Ark
4) Pan's Labyrinth
5) The Dark Crystal

Those are the ones I can watch over and over again and feel something new and exciting each time. Somewhere lower on the list I would include:

The other Star Wars films
Back to the Future 1 and 2
Jurassic Park
Terminator 2
Die Hard 1 and 3
Godfather 1 and 2
Pirates of the Carribbean 1 and 2
Just about anything by Stanley Kubrick, David Lean, Clint Eastwood, Tarantino, Coppola or Spielberg.

I like that quite a few people here have Batman Returns among their favorites. I think it's a generally underappreciated movie, the closest in atmosphere and style to, at least my own, experiences with Batman comics. Also it probably had a major influence on the stylized approach taken with Batman TAS that worked so successfully.

I totally agree. Batman Returns is a masterpiece and underappreciated IMO. It definitely comes closest in style to Batman: TAS which I absolutely loved. Danny DeVito's Penguin and Michelle Pfeifer's Catwoman can't be topped...plus Christopher Walken is awesome as well. Damn I think I'm going to watch that movie now...

The Burton/Keaton Batman films are really the only ones I like, Returns being the better of the two.
