Anyone have any luck getting a hold of the film's score?

I'd love to have it.

Ditto to that.

Avoid the game's score...its really not worth the trouble.

Supposedly there is a score CD being planned but no release date has been set yet. The people I know do not have the score.

That is awesome. I've been listening to a fan-made score and can't wait to hear the whole thing.

The "fan-made" score is most likely music from the video game, not the actual film itself.

It comes out October 9th. Also supposedly the 2-CD set for the score will be leaked about that time. If it's not posted before I get back from my trip I will post it.

Knightshift Soundtrack Review

And here it is... snatched it from a torrent on mininova.org (if anyone cares). :)
I'm no audiophile, but the sound quality is great.

Speaking of public trackers ( :XD: ), since apparently Demonoid now allows up to 3 torrents downloaded per week to the public in addition to barring Canadian access :whateva:

demonoid.com: Transformers 2007 Score @ 320kbps
demonoid.com: Transformers 2007 Score @ 192kbps

Money. I love the internet.

I know beggers can't be choosers but where's the military theme? I loved that cue from the film. The ultimate 'Michael Bay kickass guy music'.

The military theme was included in the "promo" score, there was also a great Bootleg rip done over at one of those Soundtrack blogs that has multiple cues from the Military stuff...and I've finally found a 320kbps link, so hooray!! That .WMA upload was insulting...

Heh.

Man, this thread has been epic, it'll be a shame to have to reboot a whole new Transformers thread, any chance on just changing the title of this one, for nostelgia!

I don't see how the .wma version is "insulting." It came out a day early and it's still the best copy floating around. I have the Demonoid 320kbps version and it crackles during the higher ranges.

CoGro you may want to check out the MP3s forum from time to time. Many of us commerated the 911 by downloading the Transformers Promo Score contained therein. :whateva: :XD:

Given that the quality of the initial 320kbps rip at Demonoid is questionable it maybe best just to post it publically as a public service announcement. Perhaps the 192kbps rip should go up too for comparison.
