Sorry, Paramount & LFL, no Blu-Ray equals no double dip money from me. Nice covers though.

And on the KOTCS front, here's some magazine scans at: www.nibenay.com

These double dip DVDs have become the enemy of the fan boy's wallet. I mean, these features sound great and the covers are certainly a lot better than the last time around (surprising, as I expected some kind of horrendous Photoshop art like the Star Wars covers), but fuck that. Those magazine scans are great.

Ditto.

...and the covers of the original 3-box series look WAAAY better in any case. I'll wait for the 4-disk box-set-blu-ray-re-release

What a mouthful.

Apparently there's a new shot in the HD versions of ROTLA that aired on USA and Sci-Fi Channels in the last couple weeks. The shot of the car going off the cliff in the truck chase in ROTLA is now CG. It's not on the new double dip DVD. Will it be on Blu-ray this fall?

every previous version of raiders has had a faint blue line down the centre of the print in certain shots even the recent HD broadcasts (def in the UK broadcast cant comment on US or oz!) its most noticeable in the bar scene with belloq and indy

anyway i got the new dvd set and the line is gone! so if ur as nitpicky as i am its worth an upgrade but i am so itching for the bluray now i kniow they have remastered it again since 2003

btw the truck shot still looks like the previous one weird! the hd version on bbchd had the blue line but the new cg shot and the new dvd has no blue line and the original truck shot!
