A few things, I don't think new members should be referred to as nubs or nubs or what-have-you. I like to think of the place as where someone can just jump-in and post under a dorky screen name without having to worry about being accepted in an incestuous circlejerk where everyone knows their first name or learn the "hilarious" in-jokes ala myspace or livejournal (or for that matter).
