Not sure if anyone has kept up with this but damn what a great fucking mid-season finale. The acting from all parties were great tonight. It's going to be very hard to wait until 2009 to see the rest.

If rumors are true, we have 10 webisodes coming and 1 BSG movie (a la Razor) before January.

The Ausiello Files got SciFi Channel to give them the actual premiere date for the last set of BATTLESTAR GALACTICA episodes.

Good news: A Sci Fi source confirms to me exclusively that the last half of season 4 premieres on Friday, January 16, at 10 p.m. Which, by my calculations, puts the series finale (boo-hoo!) at Friday, March 20. Viewing party at Tim Stack's place and you're all invited!

Battlestar Galactica - Official Announcement for Season 4.0: Correct Release Date, Contents (Includes Minisodes, Razor, Extras)

This 4-disc set is coming to Earth on the first Tuesday of 2009

Back in July we reported that industry sources had passed along Universal's tentative plans to release Battlestar Galactica - Season 4.0 on DVD...and that it would clock in right at the end of the year, on December 30th. This morning the studio formally announced this release, including the finalized street date. They've adjusted their original plans by a week: the schedule now shows they will put this in stores on January 6th.

You'll get a 4-disc set that's loaded with bonus material, in addition to the 10 episodes from the first half of the final season. Disc 1 will contain both the original broadcast version (88 mins.) AND the Unrated Extended Version (101 mins.) of the special feature-length story Razor, which is already available separately. The half-season's 10 episodes are contained on the remaining three discs, along with plenty of extras:

Yeah. I saw that there was some differences between the new "Last Supper" picture and the one we saw earlier.

The new webisodes will start December 12th.

There's supposed to be a TV movie coming out soon that they filmed as well.

On a side note, they better consolidate their seasons, because I think its complete BS that they have to split up every season for DVD releases.
