Thanks, Topeka. Looks like more fan favorites (the season wherein we arbitrarily introduce Mandalori-Fetts!), but the last season was pretty good and I'm looking forward to this one.

There's so much in this trailer. The complexity of design has really been amped up. Looks great.

Curious about that potential jealous Anakin storyline or whatever that was all about.

Brilliant!

The animation, which was superb in season one, looks even better. And the darker storylines should be a lot of fun. Here's hoping that the stories told with the same level of craft as the first season. :heavymetal:

Dave Filoni @ Comic-Con 2009: QUOTE: “Season two we had to develop the series and we started it like typical cartoon”, “For season two, we made it a lot more intense", "Little more violent. The villains are evil - we have to kill Jedi - people start losing limbs in season two”.

While it's awesome to see Mandalorians, The Planet Mandalorians, and hear of the return of Boba Fett there was no Live-Action Series news whatsoever!

Yeah the SDCC Star Wars panel sucked, frankly. But then I was expecting announcement of the complete PT scores to coincide with this traveling concert tour, Battlefront III and some new Indiana Jones event to explain the mysterious action figures that were photographed preview night.

The footage was cool. I liked Cad Bane having nothing to do with the Clone Wars. A bit disappointed he's going to become a player in that but we'll see how the bounty hunter overload plays out. Sounds better than more droids and dork separatists of the week.

I guess Boba is apprentice to the serape-fied Mandalorian as the concept art shown on G4 placed him next to this figure. I wonder if he could be a relative of Jango. (The rights to the website Ambu Fett was secured by Lucasfilm back in 2000.)

Filoni explained how season 2 will delve more deeply in to the character’s background. I look forward to learning more about Obi-wan and Sateen.

In general, I know a very little about the Mandalorians. They seem to be a Spartan-like warriors culture. In the Star Wars blog about the presentation, it is stated that one of the Mandalorian warriors in the trailer has an "oddly familiar voice." I’m at a loss to figure this out.

The final scene reminds me of the AOTC concept art below. It must be the cape.

Ten years after TPM, I’m still getting nerdgasms about new Star Wars material. :)

Looks awesome.

Seems like the kind of material I wish had made it into the movies.

This looks to be much more exciting than anything from season 1. Love the darker tone. I was never a big Mandalorian fanatic but it will be interesting to see what their involvement in the story entails.

The Ambu Fett name brings back memories from the good ol' Episode II spoiler days. I always thought it was a cool name.

I'm glad there was a quick appearance of Grievous in this trailer. I was beginning to think the writers had forgotten about him. He pretty much disappeared from the latter half of S1.

:wow: if this trailer is any indication of what we can expect from Season II it will have a drastically different feel to it than Season I.

I enjoyed season 1 but it almost made you forget that almost all of the jedi would die, anakin would commit the most brutal acts of the entire war, and Palpatine is actually a bad guy. Season 2 looks to firmly re-establish just how dark this time period actually is. Oddly it follows the ep 1 to ep 2 progression.

Below is a very cool 15 second spot for Clone Wars CGI Season Two:

LucasFilm's Fan Relations Steve Sansweet was interviewed by the ForceCast @ Chicago's ComicCon 2009 and cleared up the second animated series Lucas spoke of:

Steve Sansweet: “You don’t build two animation studios and just do one series. You have other things in mind,” and “not necessarily Star Wars”
