Is it just me or was that pretty weird to hear someone call Obi-Wan just "Obi" (except Jar Jar of course)?

And how 'bout that move by Anakin at the end. Wow. Just. Wow.

Superb episode. I was missing the Mandalorian action from the previous one a bit, but overall it was perfectly thought-out and the Mandalorian trilogy is finally getting interesting.

Great episode!

So many cool things in this episode, some great dialogue, the probes were a scarey enemy (especially the puppet master sequence). The "who will be the one to cold bloodily murder" sequence and Anakin's reaction were priceless.

All in all it just felt like proper star wars to me. One of the best if not THE best episode to date.

10/10

The previous three episodes written by Paul Dini were tight and suspenseful. With this episode, he topped himself. I agree that the sneak attack at the end was great. Anakin's decision was a lol moment because it was simultaneously a surprise and typical of his behavior.

I’m not sure whose idea it was to have Tal Merrick playoff of Satine and Obi-wan, but it was very clever. While I was hoping that Obi-wan’s past would be discussed in a little more detail, I did like the vignette that was introduced. I never guessed that Obi-wan would have thrown his career away for a woman. I suppose this new information gives his warning to Anakin in AOTC a little more depth. I almost wish that the Clone Wars would do flashback episodes. Qui-gon, Obi-wan, and Satine on the run would make a great arch.

In regard to the prior episode, I didn’t realize the significance of the Mandalorian warrior’s home until later last week. Commando Cody was a major inspiration for the Mandalorian super-commandos and he once did battle with a group of moon dwelling villains (see video below).

I look forward to the return of the evil moon men next week and in future episodes.

I wish Anakin was this cool in the PT.

"What? He was gonna blow up the ship."

Great episode.

Voyage started off real slow and built up to it's shockingly awesome end. Some nice touches were the faint Empire leomotifs in addition to the use of Vader's theme.

That one clip looked so much of what I envisioned for the PT that my mouth dropped.

Nothing officially official. There was Filoni’s concept art and his cryptic comment about it "making sense” to use him in the series at some point.

Personally, I’ll be shocked if Boba doesn’t end-up literally disintegrating Cad Bane. I’m sure Anakin would be appreciative of such an act.

Death Watch is definitely headed for a big-time showdown with the Republic. Given Pre’s tendency to get snippy with the Count, they may end up turning against the Separatists as well. That being said, a giant three-way Armageddon-style battle would be nice climax for the series. Preferably, such a sequence would be conducted in IMAX 3D. After all, the series began in the theaters.

And where are the Qui-Gon-Jinn flashbacks? Preferably from times when he was still Dooku's apprentice.

There are so many interesting backstory stuff the series could explore.

I really doubt that any sort of flashbacks are likely to happen (however disappointed I may be).

It just doesn't fit the "scope" of the clone wars. And George is notorious for wanting to work in and only in the time frame he sets for himself (OT). He gave all that talk about how he'd never visit the prequel era until, of couse, he decided to do just that.
