Check out this pic: Confirmation of Boba Fett showing up soon in TCW?

This Mace Windu figure appears to come with what appears to be Jango's helmet split in two with a thermal detonator inside. Hmmm.

Vintage card backs are cool, although the reverse sides are basically exactly like the ones in the other modern vintage cards (showing the original vintage figure and a few of the other figures available). So, shit, for lack of a better word.

The figures are also not particularly impressive. The Han Solo is interesting since that's the first figure on a new vintage card that's never been produced in the line. But he's cobbled together from old, crappy parts. So, stick legs, cut barrel torso, strained neck, retarded forearms. It's the same crap Hasbro pulls for years, cutting corners and frankensteining mediocre-awful "new" figures from existing parts rather than putting any real effort and delivering a product that reflects well on their company and/or inspires me to make a purchase. Putting it on a vintage style card doesn't make it any less shitty.

I might pick up some of the figures depending on how they look once they reach our shores. The Leia, Luke and possible the Threepio look nice in the prototype images. Although in regards to Threepio, the figure they displayed looked different and had removable plating. In the packaging, he looks stocky and ridiculous.

The rocket-firing figure (if it even does fire the rocket?) will go well in my vintage collection. I'll be interested to see how the vintage collecting nerds analyze the new figure. I'm curious if they actually cast it from original molds or if they had to re-sculpt it, or use an actual vintage figure to create a new mold (which means the new figure will likely be smaller than the original one, like those Kenner 1995 Classic Edition figures that were created using actual vintage figures rather than original molds).

If you ask me, Hasbro should re-release more vintage figures rather than packaging their new stuff on old-style cards.

DoubleSith's info was reposted in the latest Clone Wars CGI thread.

Raveers the latest on the Force FX front is removable blades. (I so wanted to get the Dooku Saber last Christmas Season though not @ $150 :ohno: )

Above is more BAT-AT (or BA-AT-AT in Hasbro's words). Toys R Us will offer a variant of the behemoth in retro Kenner packaging.

Below that is the new retro 6x9 card will stick out nicely in the sea of Clone Wars and Saga Legends product.

Looks like Legacy and Build a droid are gone. I also saw no signs of the Jacen/Jaina/ShaakTi wave.

Here's a link to the presentation from Hasbro on Star Wars.

About time they make FX sabers with removable blades! :) I'll definitely pick them up if they make all of em' with removable blades.

Anyways regarding the Dooku I'm gonna buy it in a couple of months. I bought the Obi-Wan TPM FX saber and that thing kicks ass.
