Thanks for the links, Keller. :heavymetal:

I really liked this episode, very Star Trekish. There were a few homages there to both Wrath of Khan and Star Trek VI. Even the soundtrack during the battle had hints of the Khan soundtrack.

Yeah that was an awesome episode. I liked the character-oriented stuff but this one rocks a lot. It's nice to see some new ships and clone designs. Also gotta love the shots that focused on the invisible ship :D

Many thanks for the upload.

This was a highly enjoyable episode and Trench turned out to be a lot cooler than I thought he'd be. A heap of interesting things in C&M; the TIE Pilot pre-cursor Clone, Obi-Wan "Serving" under Bail Organa.
Bails "Help us Obi Wan Line" - all great stuff.

I wonder where this episode fits in with the Christophsis story arc?

Awseome episode, with Anakin keeping up to his reputation I even liked the Seperatist General , not to forget the new pilot in this episode, very cool one this episode.

Thanks for the Link!

Does anybody have pictures of the pilot (the one sitting next to anakin)?

I absolutely love Anakin's character in this show. He's so dissimilar and much cooler from his PT counterpart. In this one episode we were treated to so much of what we expected to see in the PT - Anakin being a badass, Anakin being an unbelievable pilot, Anakin being a daring hero.

Being that this episode is so reminiscent of Star Trek, I can't help but wish that Chris Pine were cast as Anakin. Not only does he look like he's related to Hamill but he's got the swagger and likability that would have been perfect for Anakin Skywalker.

If only I could go back in time...

@Jinh : no problem. You can use the "snapshot" tool in the VLC player and then just convert it to a jpg format (I used Photoshop)

And about the scar, it's there, but the lighting inside the new ship is very soft and blends colors a bit.

Great episode, one of my favorites so far. I love those little Anakin/Obi-Wan moments, how Obi-Wan knows that Anakin is going to do a reckless and crazy stunt and eventually is going to save the day (note how Obi shakes his head at the end as if saying: "he did it again").

I also noticed those OT homages.
Bail: "Help us, General Kenobi. You're our only hope." Like foster-parent, like foster-daughter, lol.
Anakin: "No ship this small usually has a cloaking device." reminded me of Captain Needa (i think) from TESB, reffering to the Millennium Falcon.

Don't forget the irony of Anakin and Admiral Yularen’s involvement. Here, they are racing to assist Bail. Later, in ANH, they are both complicit in his murder.

Man, i love how this series allows us to view the OT (and ROTS for that matter) in a whole new perspective.

I liked the episode, especially the "u-boat" vibe that they gave off, really trying to Ape the U571 movie feel.

I don't like that the episode felt like it should have been an intro episode right after the movie. Like everyone was just getting introduced.

Would this not be before the film though? I thought this was to be Anakin's first landing there, especially as Bail Organa wasn't in the film (or was he, haven't watched it for a while)

I've seen this mentioned before but never really thought about it before this episode, obviously these episodes aren't being aired in any sort of chronological order but is there an official, or even just fan-based timeline for them. Would just be interesting to see what happened when.

why is this episode airing a week later in the usa? I never paid attention before, maybe this is typical for this series? Great episode though, thanks for getting it to us.

Thanks for the HD version, it's always better to watch a movie that way :D I rewatched the episode and I must tell you that it pretty much rocks the second time around as well. There is really a whole bunch of new models if you take a closer look and they seem to be much more detailed than the old ones. The "Tie fighter" pilot is a good example - textures on the helmet are awesome.
