- Transformers: Prime – Show-runners Jeff Kline (“Ghostbusters,” “Dragon Tales”), Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci (“Transformers”, “Transformers: Revenge Of The Fallen”, “Star Trek”) continue the saga as “Optimus Prime” and the “Autobots” battle the evil “Decepticons” led by “Megatron”. This fall, viewers will experience the world of “Transformers” like never before.

This is the next Transformers cartoon TV series slated to debut on the new Hasbro/Discovery joint network "The Hub" on 10/10/10. Details are slim thus far but what is confirmed is that it will be CG animated with movie writers Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci as show runners. The pic of Bumblebee is the only imagery released so far. As you can see it's kind of a simplified rendition of movie BB. Whether or not this series will have any connection to the movieverse remains to be seen.
According to ADAge, Peter Cullen will be voicing Optimus Prime for the new series.
This new Hasbro network will also be airing a new G.I.Joe series (titled "Renegades") and also be showing classic cartoons from their brands like the original TF series (Generation 1).
