:vfuckoff: now we have to re-upload everything else - somewhere else. I was in the process of uploading all of last falls DVDrips and scores we missed over the BLU-Ray release - of which also has to be reuploaded. :(

This is no doubt Obama trying to give the Movie Industry something over not signing the SOPA bill.

There's been articles that the White House won't be supporting the SOPA bill at all. All though we'll see if that remains true or not.

I'm not real happy that Megaupload got shutdown for good. Multiupload is still around so I will have to use that.

Not too long after the shutdown of Megaupload the hacker group Anonymous has gone after every major government site, including the FBI site.

Because Hollywood-backed Obama is not going to sign the Hollywood-backed SOPA bill - this is Obama's way of getting back into Movie Industry money by shutting down megaupload.

The entertainment industry has long wanted wanted to shut down megavideo and it has been the target of the Obama-Holder justice department quite some time. The individual who owns Megaupload has issues however they are no worse than people behind the personal data-mining sites known as social networking.

Keep in mind that one of the things that made MU accessible to the DOJ was that part of it's infrastructure was on US soil.

Other sites, like rapidshare, are external to the US on purpose.

The organisation "anonymous" has done DDOS attacks on the US Dept of Justice site and the FBI site as a protest and backlash.

Ultimately it's not possible to shut down any and all ways to distribute anything on the net, that was how the net was built to be.

Thank you, Megaupload for your service.

Next one up is....?

The government doing this is like trying to kill all the crickets in a backyard by chasing one of them. There will always be others.

So, filesonic is only allowing original uploaders to download their own content.

Fileserve and it's subsidiaries are deleting files faster than they can be uplaoded.

Uploading.to is blocking USA ip's, along with 5 other file hosts.

Mediafire has started canning a ton of DMCA material.

Watch yourselves out there folks.
