The fact that JEJ is now such a big part of this show amazes me. I'm thrilled they were able to get him, and even more happy that he's agreed to rejoin the Star Wars team.

Awesome to have JEJ on board, although honestly, I find his reads in the series so far a bit...weird. Maybe it's closer to the shouting and screaming Vader of ANH, whereas I'm more used to the cold Vader of ESB and Jedi, but it feels like Jones may not have really found Vader's voice yet. That said, Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuk.

This teaser actually has me more excited than the TFA trailer does. I can't believe Filoni was able to basically tell Disney "yeah yeah, totally, we'll ditch all that Clone Wars, nasty prequel stuff that people hate, don't worry. Return on investment, no probelm." and then after a handful of episodes, basically jump right back into the story arc they were clearly working towards on Clone Wars.

THIS is the payoff to all the groundwork CW was laying - Ashoka placed in ideological opposition to Anakin. THIS is also the 'big picture stuff' I fear Abrams is not going to bring to his episodes - he can direct action, and can get decent performances out of his cast, but he's never once shown the capacity to handle thematic subtext. Can't. Wait. Oh, and Filoni NEEDS to be given an anthology film.

And, yes, Witwer is Palpatine, though for the first time in an animated series - he voiced Palps in the two FU games, and did it well. If we can't have Ian on board, this is the best possible alternative I can imagine.

DisneyXD Reveals Names for Star Wars Rebels Season 2 Inquisitors

DisneyXD has updated their Star Wars Rebels mini-site to include the names/designations for the two new Inquisitors for season 2. The male is called “Fifth Brother” and the female is named “Seventh Sister”. No additional details are yet known but look for some new info at NYCC in a couple weeks. Season 2 premieres October 14 on DisneyXD.

Tasked to make a highly experienced war veteran join the rebellion, the Rebels have found their potential ally to be an old clone trooper. While Ezra and the others try to make friends with the clone and his buddies, Kanan refuses to trust them. But then the Empire learns about their collaboration, and the Rebels and the clones must join forces.

Always Two There Are

In search of supplies for the rebel fleet, Ezra, Sabine, Zeb, and Chopper are travelling to an abandoned medical facility. When two of Darth Vader's inquisitors arrive and threaten the lives of Sabine and Ezra, Zeb and Chopper must come up with a plan to save their friends.
