Bandersnatch wrote:I'm not that concerned about the trailers not being included. They're all over the internet anyway.
I will be annoyed if there are no audio commentaries, though.
Cryostar wrote:Agreed....I have every trailer that's shown up saved off on a hard drive already.
Give me something new.
Captain Walker wrote:With all the space on a Blu-ray disc, they should be able to give us the domestic and international trailers and TV spots.
It's a joke. The discs have more space and we get less for our money.
Since I loathe Abrams, I have nothing of his on DVD or Blu-ray. So I don't know if he does audio commentaries.
It doesn't look like there are going to be any. Personally, I'd rather hear from Kasdan and maybe Arndt.
Also, I'm not even seeing a regular Blu-ray being released. It looks like just a one disc DVD or the Blu-ray/DVD/Digital combo.
So I'm betting on a Blu-ray/3D Blu-ray release and a 4K Ultra HD release to hype Rogue One.
I'll wait and just grab a quality rip.
They ain't getting my money for this shit release.

Hokusai wrote:Very interesting! Im going to go watch the scene and read the captions. See how it matches up.
Hokusai wrote:What Captain Walker posted earlier is what I hear... the "any jedi" line is clear once you know its there. The "you will be tempted" is buried behind Kylo killing somebody.
Hokusai wrote:No. It's like a very good cliffs notes. The subtitles give the overall idea pretty well. I actually think there's to much going on in that audio. It's jumbled together in my opinion. You aren't missing anything important.
I'm going off the pics you posted. Is there anything missing from those? When she touches the saber it doesn't say (mechanical breathing)?
Hokusai wrote:I have a vested interest in audio and this scene is thick and mysterious... Which is in my wheel house.
I don't notice a question mark inflection during that Rey. It's mostly reused dialogue from other movies.
Hokusai wrote:She does gasp, but there's a lot of background sounds also. I feel like the captions are like explaining the colors of a tied dyed shirt to someone who is blind, yet the Braille just says "blue, red and yellow"... Make sense?
