Well, I wouldn't say 100% fantastic.
Rebel transports on Hoth - cool.
Fan-boyish AT-STs and CG AT-ATs on Hoth - not so much.
Enhanced Yoda's lips movement - cool.
Color correction (Lando's orange face during Falcon escape!) - hit or miss.
But generally - impressive effort, worth seeing. Up to tiniest details, like masking the incorrect mount of full scale Falcon's quad guns.

Absolutely terrific.

Hope the wait for the DVD-9 and BD-25 will be short.

Don't forget the extras disc as well.

Why is it ok for these people to dick around with Lucas's films, but it wasn't ok for Lucas to do it?

If Lucas had even slightly enhanced Yoda's lips, fan boys would cry bloody murder.

I guess you are right, many of them would do that. It's just so fashionable to trash the Maker, at least since the prequels or even since the Special Editions ;) .
But for me this Adywan version is more or less the same as Special Editions and prequels: a mixture of very good, good and not so good decisions. Lucas is a genius but he's not infallible. And in that specific case of Yoda's lips I can only say this: when I was a kid and watched the original ESB on the big screen (11 times!), that puppet was a miracle. Then I got older and it was just so-so. But in Special Editions era I could not help but notice that all that Yoda's lips did looked like "wah-wah-wah". I actually regreted that Lucas didn't try to fix it. And I'm glad Adywan did it. Definitely a good decision.

P.S. I'm also glad he restored the "Bring my shuttle" line. But I repeat: the whole effort is far from "100% fantastic".

One of the big reasons is the way he did it. :what:

Adding in a ridiculous CGI Jabba that didn't even match up with the Return of the Jedi Jabba. :whateva:

Then changing it again for the 2004 DVD release.

Having Greedo shoot first. :vfuckoff:

Not really fixing Vader's pink lightsaber. :(

Not fixing Obi-Wan's "winking out" lightsaber. :(

Should I go on?

Here, you have one private citizen who actually gives a shit vs. a multi-billionaire with such a thin skin that he has to add the super-controversial Revenge of the Sith "Noooooo' to the Return of the Jedi Blu-ray simply out of spite and bitterness.

No, he's not a sad little dick.

People didn't love Jar Jar the way you thought they would.

They didn't love shit and fart jokes.

Get over it, fatboy. :ass2mouth:
