I didn't buy Rogue One and I won't buy this one. I've only bought the ST Blu-rays. These A Star Wars Story™ films don't really pass the muster with me (not even Rogue One which I felt was leagues better than Solo). They're stories that are paper-thin conceptually and not nearly as compelling as those of the Skywalker saga. I fear my interest in the franchise will sharply drop off after Episode IX is released.

For me, another (even better) Solo film would be welcome.

Thanks mate! This kind of material really helps me appreciate a film much better. And I have to admit, Solo is growing on me. My main gripe was the dark and "ugly" lighting in the theatre. Maybe it was the 3D that was so awful. Anyways, the story is still paper thin, but it is a fun romp on the extra screen while I work. But really ... what is next?
