I don't trust Ward, but if this is true, some makes sense. This is a way to introduce Mortis (the dagger) without introducing Mortis.

I saw the reddit post. That reddit post took this post and expanded, said with Ward's post they were going to go ahead and expand. LARPed, IMO. Ward would never leak the amount in that reddit post. And the reddit post was a bunch of crap. I didn't see it but a friend sent screenshots of it to me. It said Kylo told Rey that her parents weren't important, but her grandfather was...Palpatine.

I knew instantly. it was BS.

Okay, now some of this is beginning to make a little bit of sense. I don't know how the training works though. I am still sure that she is Leia's daughter.

MakingStarwars.net posted the below today. If all of the below is true (which it may not be), it doesn't negate ki adi's information.

Huge Rumors: Sith Knives Out! Rey’s parents, Threepio’s Red Eyes, Sith Rey, Wayfinders and more explained?

Unverified rumors that lined up with the D23 Special Look!

The recent D23 footage from Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker opened up more questions for us fans than it answered. The “special look” footage lines up with a lot of rumors I had heard in the last year. Our recent story about the Sith Fleet lines up with what we saw in the trailer as well. The rumors below are pretty big and line up with the D23 Special Look footage.

Because of the level of verification I’m able to conduct at the moment, please classify all of this as rumor and not 100% verified information. That said, I have some confidence in the information or I wouldn’t even bother writing this. The information in this news story sat beside information that panned out in the “special look” we had at D23. These could be inaccurate reports that line up with the footage perfectly but that seems somewhat unlikely.

Rey’s First Scene in The Rise of Skywalker

More than one source that appears credible has noted that the film, as far as Rey is concerned, opens with her training in the woods by General Leia. With the edit not being finalized, we can only say Rey’s story opens with her training being done with Leia. This has always made a lot of sense to me because if Leia had any cut lines about trusting your instincts and other fortune cookie type bits of wisdom, they could edited to make it seem as if Leia was training Rey in the film.

If the Glove of Darth Vader don’t fit, you must acquit!

Before the trailer, we heard about See-Threepio’s red eyes on Kijimi had a rather interesting connotation and twist to it. It involves a murder weapon, a dagger, and the ability to translate text on the murder weapon to move the plot further along.

A contact of the rebellion is killed and a dagger is found next to the body. The contact knows of the location of the Emperor’s planet in the unknown regions. The dagger has a mysterious inscription on it written in Sith. The problem is no one can translate it, not even See-Threepio who is fluent in over six billion forms of communication.

Our heroes take See-Threepio to Kijimi because there he can be rebooted into a state that allows them to bypass his programming that doesn’t allow him to translate Sith text. However, at first Zorii Bliss wants to capture them and turn them over to the First Order but has a change of heart. We supposedly learn that both Zorii and Poe smuggled…..and wait for it….snuggled together in the past and there was some romance there which might play into why she doesn’t follow through with turning the heroes in (and we assume the Drax guy takes the opportunity Zorii passes up).

For his protection Threepio is backed up to Artoo-Detoo. As the golden translator begins to read the message on the blade, See-Threepio’s eyes glow bright red. The Sith inscription is successfully decrypted. Something about the message points Rey to the Emperor’s Wayfinder device on the moon of Endor. Kylo is in possession of Darth Vader’s Wayfinder device. So while Kylo has Vader’s Wayfinder, Rey is racing towards Palpatine’s Wayfinder.

Sith Rey

After the business on Kijimi, Rey finds The Emperor’s Wayfinder device on the Endor moon. When she touches it she sees herself as a Sith entering the Emperor’s chambers. This allows Kylo to find her and he appears through what we believe to be the “Force Bond” established in The Last Jedi. So the rumor we heard on this is that Rey sees her evil self when she touches the artifact and the vision is disrupted by Kylo Ren and their “Force Bond.”

Rey’s Parents and the Sith Dagger!

Rey and Kylo have a Force confrontation. Kylo has desperately been searching for her. Kylo quickly turns the conversation to Rey’s parents. He tells her he never lied to her. Everything he said was true but her parents sold her to keep her safe and used the money for drinks. Rey then sees the vision Kylo saw in The Last Jedi. However, the huge reveal is that Rey’s parents are killed with the Sith dagger in her vision.

Rey becomes enraged and during the “Force Bond” and they begin to fight on the remains of the Death Star II. So this might shine a slightly different light on how the “Flash Fights” work. But I can’t pretend to understand the rules of this with any authority.

Sith Knives Out

So there we have the rumors that lined up with what we saw in the D23 Special Look. There’s a lot of really huge moments in here if these are accurate. I wish we could verify them. Sometimes the only way to get something verified or shot down is to introduce them into the discourse for fans to discuss. The implications that a Sith conspiracy has been behind Rey’s life is rather interesting. We believe Rey is a product of Palpatine but we don’t really know exactly what that means.

There’s a lot of questions we have and we don’t have all the answers. I hope the information presented here is accurate and it lines up well with various things we have heard and now seen in official footage. I wish I could say empirically how accurate these are. So please do not shoot the messenger if these are totally on and you don’t like them or if they don’t pan out. I figure most of you spoiler junkies would rather read these than have them die in my notes, un-shared.

Please respect the spoiler policy posted at the top of this article and use your head when discussing this stuff on public forums like Twitter and Facebook.

- Are Rey's "parents" the equivalent of Leia's "parents" - Bail and Breha?

- Is the "Sith" dagger really the Dagger of Mortis?

- Is Ben and Rey's vision of Rey's parent's a true vision or a planted shared memory designed to hide their kinship?

- Is Rey's "vision" of her evil-self a fantasy or a future event that happens (in some form) later in the film?

- One week ago, I was stoked about The Mandalorian and a little indifferent to TROS. Now, I'm definitely invested in seeing how the Skywalker saga wraps-up. (Though, the film could still turn out to be a clusterfuck.)

This is the post Hokusai is talking about. Some guy on reddit took Ward's post and made a huge larp. I still think most of my info is correct. Also no Matt Smith in this reddit post which again I believe is a huge bunch of BS.

Reddit Post

I'll break down my thoughts on Ward's post later because I do think our info could work together. Remember everyone just has pieces, snippets at this time. We don't have the big picture at all. And Lucas did work on this film with JJ. This has been thoroughly documented. At the very least that piece of shit reddit post is flat-out wrong.

Ki Adi,

I'm watching the SW Labor Day marathon as I write this. I trust your claims over that reddit post. To me, the reddit post reads off as a batshit crazy fan fiction to me. I mean think about it... Too much location jumping. a 113 year old Palpatine looking all decrepit? Death Star powered imperial stardestroyers? Rey's parents still nobodies? A hacked C-3P0 modified to read sith texts? Leia a Jedi Master? See.. too much fan fiction over there.

Interesting how that newbie ran away after you called him out on his bs.

You said that this film could turn out to be a clusterfuck... You might be right and this film might be the "make it or break it" film for Disney because they did end up with two turds in TLJ and Solo. They can't afford to have three straight turds in a row. If TROS bombs, we can always go back to watching Episodes 1-6 the way Lucas intended it for the last 20 years and just move on with our lives as if it was the 1980's and 1990's all over again.

Well....According to Lucasfilm/Disney, Palpatine created Anakin through Midichlorians/The Force.

Old Lucas era Canon: https://www.reddit.com/r/starwarsspeculation/comments/3ymr0n/anakin_skywalker_was_created_by_darth_plagueis/

Current Disney era Canon: https://www.slashfilm.com/darth-vaders-father-revealed/

So sorry but Palpy IS Anakin's father. This makes the Saga one big happy family feud that pisses off everyone else around them for three generations.

It was a joke. I know that in Lucas cannon that it was originally in a draft by Lucas but scrapped. I didn't know if it was actually a part of his cannon. See, the thing about Lucas' cannon was that it was fickle. He overrode the books quite a bit and this pissed off a lot of fans of the EU. For me personally, I just view TCW and the films as cannon - everything else is extra. Anything that comes out of Lucas' mouth directly.

Oh alright. Yeah, Lucas never gave a shit about the EU. There has been several interviews that he stated this many times over. He stated he only created the EU to primarily make money while satisfying the fans' desire for the sequel trilogy. I never really read any of the EU books. I just cared about the Skywalker Saga. That's it.

I'm about to drop almost everything I know about The Rise of Skywalker plot. It is corroborated and works WITH Ward's leaks but it adds extra details. Hint: the dagger is the dagger of Mortis, it is the key to freeing the Son, Palpatine and others (Dark Rey) are The Son taking their form. The teaser poster is misdirection. They will make it accessible so if people do not know about Mortis, it doesn't matter. It may alter SOME details about The Son, he may be called something else, but he is the son and people who saw The Clone Wars will recognize it.

This is what I have. This is who I leaked to. He's dropping it on my word. I'm on tablet so someone can copypasta.

Rise of Skywalker Plot

• The heroes in the film are on a quest to find an ancient Sith Dagger, which is actually The Dagger of Mortis. What it is called this in the film is unknown. The Dagger is the key to freeing an ancient evil and has an inscription that pre-dates any language known in the Galaxy. This evil is The Son, played by Matt Smith. It is unknown whether he is called The Son. This was Lucas’ original plan in his treatment for the Sequel Trilogy and are direct references to The Clone Wars. It will be made accessible to the general audience.

• C-3P0 attempts to read an inscription on the Dagger but cannot read it due to his programming. A major aspect of the early part of the film is attempting to decipher the text. 3P0’s eyes turn red and it takes them to the Second Death Star on Endor and a device of The Emperor’s. This device, with the dagger as its key, opens a portal to what is The World Between Worlds from Star Wars Rebels, where The Son is trapped, waiting to be released. We have been told that Snoke was actually a projection of The Son, but this has not been corroborated so we do not know if this is true. The World Between Worlds will be made accessible to the general audience and may be called something else.

• The Jedi texts are what directed Rey to the ancient evil, The Son. The Jedi had vague records on Mordis and The Father, The Son, and The Daughter in the Jedi Temple independent of the first Jedi texts from Ahch-to.

• Rey is Han and Leia’s daughter and Ben/Kylo’s sister.
• Rey is given Han’s audio diary. Harrison Ford recorded dialogue.

• Kylo and Rey independently find their way to the Death Star. Kylo shows Rey his vision of her parents. The true twist though is that her “parents” aren’t truly her parents. She was given away in order to protect her, and her adoptive parents were murdered by the Dagger.

• During their “Force Bond”, Rey has a vision of herself as a Sith. Rey and Kylo fight on the ruins of the Death Star. This could be where the Flash Fight begins, the twist being Rey and Kylo are actually traveling through both space and time. Nothing is changed, they do not interact with past events, but events from the prequels and the original trilogy are seen in the background.

• The Son is freed with the Dagger of Mortis, the one thing that can destroy him. He’s been pulling all the strings and everything has led to this moment. The First Order, Snoke, Ben’s fall, Luke’s exile…everything. He takes on the form of Palpatine and Rey, among others. Dark Rey is not actually Rey, but The Son. Rey’s vision of her Sith self was in fact a vision of The Son in the future taking on her form. Rey, Kylo, and even the force ghosts join to defeat The Son.

• The final shot of the film, the Skywalker Saga, is of the Binary Suns of Tatooine.
• The Saga ends where it began.

The Rise of Skywalker Plot

I like that during the Rey/Kylo Duel, we will be shown key scenes from PT-OT and TFA. I'm watching ROTJ on TBS and it has me thinking: Would we possibly see duels at the same time i.e. Rey/Kylo dueling during either the Kenobi/Vader duel or the Empire Duel or even the ROTJ duel? So much possibilities now.

It also has gotten me to think about the Son's role in all this. I know He had nothing to do with the events of TPM, but what if he helped with the events of ROTS and the OT? I mean, he did warn Anakin that he was going to become Vader and you gotta think the Son has to be pleased with the events of OT until the moment Luke redeemed Vader/Anakin. Maybe this moment at the end of ROTJ is what pissed the Son off and made a vow to destroy Luke and the Skywalker lineage? Thus The Son spends the next 30 years building the First Order, making Luke's life miserable and stuff like that? I can imagine that the Son might have been happy that Anakin/Vader was on the Dark Side during the 20-year span.

Good one lol. George was involved here, confirmed, and Ian said he was quite categorical that Palps was dead dead dead. Almost a direct quote. He wouldn't come back otherwise.

I stopped listening to him earlier this year. While I agree with some of the stuff TFM talks about there's just way too much negativity in that group.

On the other side of the fence these guys are running with the Reddit "leak" as well https://youtu.be./wAn07n5cM-w

Yea, he just showed up in my YouTube feed just because I subscribed to the official Star Wars channel. I was like why is he bashing the movie before he even sees it? As for that other channel - I can’t watch it because the subtitles are in Portuguese.

Stumbled here from the VGCulture website and decided to sign up. With all the various contradictory leaks that are floating around how do you know that you haven't been given false spoilers to just keep the true story from leaking? Granted, this could also be said of the couple of reddit guys, but people say that have a decent track record. I guess I don't know what to believe at this point. Rereading your version makes me wish it were true especially considering the reddit version alternative. Your version actually ties all three trilogies together.

NEW 6″ TBS BIOS REVEAL DETAILS FOR CHARACTERS

#90 Supreme Leader Kylo Ren

As Supreme Leader of the First Order, Kylo Ren wields more power than ever before. Nevertheless, Ren continues to search for secrets of the Force from the depths of the dark side.

#91 Rey & D-O

Rey continues to study the Jedi ways, but she grows concerned about what the future – and the Force – may hold in store for her.

Cobbled from odds and ends in the workshop of a droidsmith, little D-O is an impressionable little roller that becomes fixated on BB-8.

#92 Sith Trooper

In its ultimate push towards galactic conquest, the First Order readies an army of elite soldiers that draw inspiration and power from a dark and ancient legacy.

#97 First Order Stormtrooper

The First Order’s infantry units are trained from birth, given unit designations instead of names and fed a steady diet of First Order propaganda to ensure absolute loyalty.

- Luke training Leia is an idea from Lucas:
Mark Hamil wrote:
"I happen to know that George didn't kill Luke until the end of [Episode] 9, after he trained Leia. Which is another thread that was never played upon [in The Last Jedi].

- "Supreme Leader" Ren's boxback may jibe with ki ado moonshine. Does Ren's search lead to the Mortis Son?

As you can see ki's original post has been updated with all his info from here and vgculturehq.com only reformatted, re-grouped and edited in no particular chronological order.

I believe ki adi moonshine as many of us known of him going back literally to the year 2000 via Aldera.net and Episode-X.com. This plot info backs up information previously posted on r/StarWarsLeaks by "JediPraxis" along with newer information to be backed up later on r/StarWarsLeaks by "JediPraxis".

ki adi moonshine is now a independent source corroborating and expanding on the JediPraxis plot therefore one can surmise the unrecurring info is partially if not all true.

Which means DisneyLFL is incorporating another Clone Wars Television ip-asset film - again. Along with having another legacy character passing away onscreen: Chewbacca. If the on-screen death occurs DisneyLFL may have decided it was time to retire the character given Peter Mayhew's passing. As it stand now Episode IX may feature the presumed on-screen death of Leia, potential appearance the force-spirits Anakin and Luke, Alex Guiness as Ben Kenobi or Ewan MacGregor as Obi-Wan Kenobi or both, alongside Han Solo in some form or another. Leaving the remaining newer characters.

I must say the info is a good read.

I'm struggling to understand this sentence from darthpsychotic. Could someone please clarify it for me?

I know that the Clone Wars TV series is finally being given the polish that the unreleased Season 7 most assuredly deserves - are more seasons planned after this one is done? Or is he making a reference to how the Mortis storyline is going to be referenced in The Rise of Skywalker? Or...?

Need help. Additional details should help me make the pieces fit better together. Thanks in advance.

He's referring to the Son from the Mortis arc and the fact that they last included Clone Wars elements in Disney "canon" in Rogue One with Saw.

This is what's out there. Two Spoiler reports from as DP said, this JediPaxis.

Spoiler Report 2 (This second one from this JediPaxis. It is said to be more accurate... and more controversial.)

• It has been reiterated to me that we will indeed be getting young Luke and Leia flashbacks in TROS. One in particular appears to be the very opening of the movie. We begin the action by seeing one of, if not the final training lesson between Luke and Leia. It appears Leia is giving up her Jedi training due to the fact that she's pregnant with a son. My source on this mentioned a fight, so I believe that we may be getting Leia and Luke in a lightsaber duel right at or toward the beginning of the film.
• Some details about the scene: After the opening crawl we pan from space. The camera moves towards a planet that is covered in trees. We see two lightsabers, one green and one blue, in the respective hands of these two warriors. The two combatants are clearly dueling one another. These two Jedi are donning helmets with visors that covers their faces. The two Jedi break from their duel and remove their helmets to reveal Luke Skywalker and Leia Organa Skywalker Solo. It might be the final training lesson between Luke and Leia. Luke Skywalker realizes something has changed with his sister. He questions her and she confides in Luke that's she's going to be a mother. This is the moment Luke Skywalker realizes that Ben Solo is coming and the galaxy will never be the same again.
• We then hear a voice-over shouting "Master Leia!" causing Rey to end Leia's flashback and we are thrust into the post-The Last Jedi era, far from General Leia's training with her brother all those years ago. Now, we are with Leia and Rey on the same planet. Rey trains to become the Jedi that will face-off against the new supreme leader that was once the child Leia carried during her training with Luke. It appears that Leia has taken up the mantel of Jedi mentor to Rey in the wake of Luke's passing. This will likely coincide with the scene from the D23 First Look where Rey throws her lightsaber at a training remote, cutting down a tree.
• The slug Klaud is brought into the Resistance by Chewbacca, and he helps the Resistance, but what he does to help them is unknown.
• We also catch up with Maz Kanata.
• Early on in the film, we catch up with Kylo Ren's story where he is slaughtering people with the purpose of tracking down one of the film's "MacGuffins", a plot device known as the "Wayfinder". I'm told that the clip of Kylo Ren body slamming someone into the ground of a forest with his red lightsaber from the film’s teaser is this scene. I'm also told that this planet is called Exogol.
• Kylo Ren obtains the location of the "Wayfinder" from a creature known as "The Oracle", or it simply gives the device to him right there.
• Kylo Ren finds it to contain coordinates to a point in the Unknown Regions/Wild Space.
• The "Wayfinder" that Kylo Ren is given once belonged to his grandfather, Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader. It may be a Sith holocron.
• Using the coordinates found within the "Wayfinder" device, Kylo Ren arrives in the Unknown Regions/Wild Space.
• Here, Kylo Ren encounters Emperor Palpatine. How Emperor Palpatine is still alive and how he ended up in the Unknown Regions/Wild Space is still a mystery to me that I hope to learn more about in the next few months Note: Daisy Ridley recently said in an interview that it's explained in the film, but my source on this tells me that this is indeed Emperor Palpatine in the flesh.
• Kylo Ren and Emperor Palpatine's conversation apparently centers around ordering Kylo Ren to find Rey and bring her to him with the goal of turning her to the dark side. Note: It's not lost on me that this part of the story feels very Return of the Jedi inspired, but we'll just wait and see how this all pans out.
• My source specifically mentioned that Emperor Palpatine is very old and decrepit at this point, possibly on the verge of death. A little bit of Googling reveals that Palpatine is thought to have been born around 84 BBY making him in the neighborhood of 113 years old by the events of The Rise of Skywalker.
• Emperor Palpatine’s goal in luring Kylo Ren to him and converting Rey to darkness is more or less to have Rey and Kylo Ren inherit his "new Galactic Empire" and for them to rule it together.
• In order to facilitate bringing about this "new Galactic Empire", Emperor Palpatine has spent his thirty years of Post Original Trilogy creating a fleet of "Death Star Destroyers." Note: I don't know if this is their actual name or not. Personally, I hope not, as it is bit on the nose.
• The starships appear to be exactly what they sound like, Star Destroyers with Death Star tech mounted onto them, giving them the capability to destroy a planet. Note: Apparently once this particular technology was unleashed 30 some odd years ago, that Pandora's box can't be shut again.
• According to my source, these Star Destroyers make up the "Sith Fleet" that house the new red Sith Stormtroopers that were showcased at San Diego Comic-Con in July. Note: I wrote this prior to the First Look being shown and the Sith fleet has since been confirmed. It's comprised of Imperial Star Destroyers hiding in the Unknown Regions/Wild Space and we see what appears to be their planet destroying capabilities during the D23 footage.
• Going back to the rest of the Resistance, we catch up with Finn and Poe returning to the jungle planet depicted in some of the behind the scenes images shown at Celebration Chicago. The duo has been in contact with an informant from within The First Order. The mole has told Finn and Poe about Kylo coming into possession of the "Wayfinder" device. Note: It's unclear to me if anyone in the Resistance understands what the "Wayfinder" is or where it leads. They just want to find it.
• Poe and Finn tell General Leia about this and she sends Rey, Chewbacca, C-3PO, R2-D2 and BB-8 to accompany them on the mission. In order to get them going on their quest, General Leia puts them in contact with someone on the planet Pasaana.
• It's at this point in the story where the Resistance team makes their way to Pasaana seen in the teaser and the D23 footage. It's revealed that General Leia's contact is Lando Calrissian. Lando points them toward another one of the MacGuffins, a "Sith artifact" that apparently turns out to be a dagger. This dagger has some sort of writing on it that C-3PO can’t decipher. Note: My source understands this to be a "Sith language" of ancient origin. That description is pretty vague for me, but the key point is sound. Heroes acquire this dagger, and said dagger has writing on it that C-3PO can't read.
• It’s during our heroes’ time on Pasaana that Kylo Ren initiates a Force mind link between himself and Rey. Through their connection Kylo Ren discovers where Rey and the Resistance team are and leaves to pursue them.
• There is a scene here on Pasaana where the heroes are attacked by a giant worm creature. Where my info differs in the worm scene from other reports is that I was told that instead of the heroes almost killing the worm, the worm basically has our heroes backed into a metaphorical corner and the healing is what allows them to survive and escape. The main story beat is the same, but some of the details panning out one way versus the other have slightly different implications for Rey’s character. It wasn’t done from a place of power and out of pity, but instead implies compassion in the face of danger.
• Eventually Kylo Ren and The Knights of Ren arrive and begin to attack our heroes. One thing leads to another and the Resistance crew gets outnumbered and they are forced to make their escape on an old ship, leaving the Millennium Falcon behind.
• Kylo Ren recovers the Millennium Falcon and takes it back to his personal Star Destroyer.
• As previously mentioned, C-3PO is confronted with a challenge that he is not equipped to handle. The strange artifact found on Pasaana contains an "unknown language" that C-3PO can’t translate without modifications. In order to modify C-3PO’s programming, Poe Dameron brings the team to the wintery planet seen in the teaser. It is called Kijimi.
• This is where C-3PO is modified to allow translation of the "Sith artifact." I'm told that the modification is done by a small alien. Note: This is possibly the one pictured in Image A of my post from six months ago. I'm not 100% sure on that, but confident enough in who told this to me that I'm willing to put it out there.
• Once translatable, the dagger supposedly reveals information regarding a second "Wayfinder", this one having belonged to Emperor Palpatine himself. This leads the team to journey to the forest moon of Endor. Note: My sources tell me that the scene from the D23 footage showing C-3PO with red eyes connects to this event. The Red eyes are part of the "hack" that allows him to translate the "Sith language."
• During the events leading to the modification of C-3PO on Kijimi, Kylo Ren initiates another Force connection between himself and Rey.
• Kylo Ren supposedly uses this second Force link as an opportunity to begin pushing Rey down the path of darkness. He does this by antagonizing Rey. Kylo Ren tells her that he knows about the dagger and what it was once used for. Kylo Ren apparently tells her that this dagger was used to murder her parents.
• Kylo Ren maintains that her parents are nobodies in the grand story.
• This angers Rey and she lashes out at Kylo Ren and a lightsaber duel ensues. Rey is on the planet Kijimi and Kylo Ren is on his Star Destroyer. According to my source no flashes of any additional locations are seen during this particular fight.
• Kylo Ren keeps the link alive long enough to learn Rey’s location and eventually peruses her in his Star Destroyer.
• Zori Bliss is introduced sometime during their time on this planet. Note: My sources told me that she has history with Poe prior to Keri Russell saying the same thing in an interview days ago. What this history may be is still a mystery to me right now.
• Once Kylo Ren arrives, our group of heroes decides to sneak aboard his Star Destroyer and attempt to recover the Millennium Falcon prior to leaving. The rescue plan goes awry and the whole group gets captured by The First Order.

It is at this point that two major things happen in the story:

1.) It is revealed that General Hux is a First Order mole that has been feeding the Resistance information. This information may be how General Leia and the Resistance learn about Kylo Ren and The Knights of Ren search for the "Wayfinder" device.
He allows the heroes to escape while Kylo Ren is distracted in his duel with Rey. The heroes recover the Millennium Falcon, Rey reconnects with them, and they are able to flee.

2.) During their lightsaber duel, Kylo Ren adds another wrinkle to Rey’s back story. He maintains that while her parents were nobodies, her grandparents, more specifically her grandfather, was not. KyloRen tells Rey that she is the granddaughter of Emperor Sheev Papatine. This explains his interest in bringing the random nobody from Jakku into the fight.

• Following her battle aboard the Star Destroyer and escape on the Millennium Falcon, Rey uses the newly gleaned information resulting from C-3PO’s modifications and the translation of the dagger to travel to the forest moon of Endor.
• At this time, it’s a little unclear to me exactly how Kylo Ren gets from Point A to Point B, but supposedly he is already waiting for Rey in Emperor Palpatine’s throne room aboard the wreckage of the second Death Star. Note: I assume he knows the location of the second "Wayfinder" due to his newfound connection to Emperor Palpatine, but that's just speculation on my part. I think it's important to note that Kylo Ren may have been on Endor before considering that he had the charred helmet of Darth Vader in The Force Awakens.
• Naturally, they duel again. The specifics of this lightsaber duel are unknown to me, but what I have been told about it is that it’s at this point when Rey begins to tap into some dark side, some anger and hatred to gain the upper hand and eventually defeats Kylo Ren. Note: Rey may possibly destroy his red lightsaber in the process, but that's more rumor than leak at the moment. Rey leaves Kylo Ren for dead on the wreckage of the second Death Star.
• Rey takes possession of Emperor Palpatine's "Wayfinder" and departs Endor.
• My sources tell me that the "Dark Rey" moment as seen in the D23 footage, is in fact a vision that was described as being thematically similar to Luke seeing himself in Darth Vader in the cave on Dagobah. This apparently is a short sequence that happens right after Rey picks up Emperor Palpatine's "Wayfinder" device.
• While lying in the wreckage of the second Death Star in a weakened state, Kylo Ren reportedly sees a vision of his father, Han Solo. Note: It is unclear to me if Solo appears as a bona fide Force ghost, or just through the magic of injury induced hallucination. But this interaction supposedly acts as Kylo Ren’s “come to Jesus” moment.
• Han Solo tells his son that it’s never too late to change. When he leaves Endor, he leaves not as Kylo Ren, but now as Ben Solo.
• This lightsaber duel is a critical tipping point for Rey as well. I’m told that in the wake of her battle with Kylo Ren, she takes the "Wayfinder" and flees back to Ahch-To to collect her thoughts. Her mindset reportedly mirrors Luke’s while he was there prior to and during the events of Episode VIII: The Last Jedi. The vision of a possible dark future for herself in conjunction with the fact that she nearly killed Kylo Ren scared Rey in the same way that considering killing his nephew Ben in his sleep scared Luke Skywalker all those years ago. Rey feared the path she was headed down and decides to swear off the Jedi Order, exiling herself on Ahch-To like Luke did. Rey scuttle the ship that she used to get there just like Luke had done to his X-Wing, and she caps it off by casting Anakin's reconstructed lightsaber toward her demolished starship.
• Just when it looks like the Jedi Order is going to end (again), the Force ghost of Luke Skywalker appears to Rey, holding her discarded lightsaber and does what all good Force ghosts do; gives our hero the resolve to do what needs to be done. She must finish the work Luke began over thirty years earlier and put an end to Emperor Palpatine once and for all. According to my source, Luke passes on Leia’s lightsaber to Rey. Note: I don't know where it came from, where it's been all this time, or how Luke is physically able to give it to Rey, but what I can tell you (with only about 50% confidence at this point) is that Leia's blade is supposedly blue. Bolstered by her conversation with Luke, Rey takes Leia's lightsaber, transmits the location of the Sith fleet to the Resistance before heading out herself, possibly in Luke’s old X-Wing.
• On the subject of Force ghosts, Luke makes another appearance around the time of Rey and Kylo Ren’s crises of faith. Back at the main Resistance base, General Leia is on her deathbed. Note: My source describes it to me like Yoda’s death in Return if the Jedi, nothing bad happened, it was just her time to go. Luke has come to say goodbye, but before it all ends for his sister, Luke has one final lesson for her.

From what I've been able to put together, the final act of the film is structured like this:

• Rey leaves Ahch-To and travels to the Sith fleet in the Unknown Region/Wild Space. Eventually the Resistance fleet arrives and the big battle begins. Somehow, Rey finds her way to Emperor Palpatine who has been waiting for her. He confirms that what Kylo Ren told her was true. Apparently after his defeat on the Death Star II, Emperor Palpatine was shaken by the fact that he wasn't able to maintain his hold on Darth Vader or seduce Luke Skywalker to the dark side due to their very strong familial bond. During the course of their conversation, Emperor Palpatine makes reference to this bond between Darth Vader and Luke. He likens it to his bond with Rey, hoping that whatever familial connection they have will be enough to somehow win her over. It is Emperor Palpatine’s hope that their bond will be as strong as the Skywalkers was back then. Note: What my source described next feels very reminiscent of Episode VI: Return of the Jedi
• Rey is trapped in Emperor Palpatine’s throne room, watching the two opposing fleets battle while she helplessly waches. It’s at this point that Ben appears. How we get to this next part is still a bit fuzzy to me, but apparently Ben and Rey join forces and begin attacking Emperor Palpatine. Leia's lightsaber comes back into play when Rey and Ben share the two Skywalker lightsabers throughout their fight. At some point, Emperor Palpatine overpowers them both and supposedly kills Ben. Note: there have been reports from other reputable leakers that Ben kind of/sort of dies, but my source on this seemed pretty unambiguous. Personally, I think we'll just have to wait and see what we learn over the next few months.
• When it looks like all hope is lost, the Force ghosts of Luke and Leia show up to help Rey. The three of them overpower Emperor Palpatine, destroying him, and ending his darkness once and for all.
• As for what the other members of the Resistance are doing at this point, they are all engaged in the mammoth space battle against Emperor Palpatine's Sith fleet being led by Allegiant General Pryde. The Resistance's goal is said to be to take out the Sith fleet’s flagship, severing communications with the other Star Destroyers and making navigation out of the Unknown Regions/Wild Space impossible for them. The Sith fleet’s flagship is destroyed around the same time that Emperor Palpatine is defeated and killed in his throne room.
• The last thing I was told is regarding the final sequence of the film. I don’t why, but our heroes travel to the planet Tatooine. During these scenes, it is supposedly revealed that Rey has cannibalized both the Anakin/Luke's lightsaber and the Leia lightsaber to make a unique one of her own that supposedly has a yellow/gold blade.
• Rey buries what amounts to the leftover pieces of the two lightsabers on the grounds of the former Lars homestead where Luke Skywalker was raised by Uncle Owen and Aunt Beru.
• A local sees Rey and comments about not having seen anyone near this dwelling in a long time. The local woman then asks Rey what her name is to which she says, “Rey, Rey Skywalker.”
• The final shot of the Skywalker family saga allegedly echoes how the adventure began in 1977. The group of heroes, mirroring Luke’s gaze out at the horizon, dreaming of the future as Tatooine’s twin suns set in the distance. Credits roll.

The Controversial Stuff

Luke and Leia in a lightsaber duel during a flashback sequence.
There may be two different "Wayfinders", thus two different MacGuffins.
Emperor Palpatine is somehow physically alive (i.e. Ian McDiarmid), despite what happened at the end of Episode VI: Return of the Jedi.
The idea that the normally selfish Emperor Palpatine is doing all of this because he wants Kylo and Rey to inherit his new "Galactic Empire."
Rey’s "Mary Sue" powers becoming even more over the top and ridiculous. It now seems that she can heal injuries and maybe even bring the dead back to life.
The continued use of new, bizarre Force powers including the one that seems to link Rey and Kylo as first introduced by Rian Johnson in Episode VIII: The Last Jedi. This includes an actual lightsaber duel in which Rey is on the planet Kajimi while Kylo is on his Star Destroyer, and yet they are somehow able to engage each other.
Rey seems to defeat Kyo Ren every time they duel.
The super big one: Rey is a Palpatine. Yep, she is Emperor Palpatine’s granddaughter.
Leia dies. No injury, just her time. It is very strange since she should only be in her late fifties at this point
No talk of one of the MacGuffins holding Emperor Palpatine’s ghost/spirit. No, he is physically here.
Ben Solo is killed.
The Force ghosts of Luke and Leia returning to actually physically assist Rey in defeating Emperor Palpatine. Was this set up by showing Yoda’s Force ghost interacting with the physical world when he set the Jedi/Force tree on fire in Episode VIII: The Last Jedi?
Rey possibly having a new lightsaber with a yellow blade. Where did the crystal come from?
Rey referring to herself as a Skywalker at the end of all this.

I'm not overly bothered by Rey's super abilities. At least, she isn't pulling Star Destroyers out of the sky.

Force healing may be lifted from the Jedi Knight video game series. It appears that Lucas borrowed Force speed from Jedi Knight for TPM. However, it hasn't been used on film since.

To me, Palpatine's presence only makes sense if he's the Son in disguise. Regardless, I don't see how Snoke fits in this story in any cogent manner. Him being a witting or unwitting tool of Palpatine or the Son seems like a convenient retcon to justice his existence in the ST.

Spoiler Report 2 (This second one is from this JediPaxis. It is said to be more accurate... and more controversial.)[/b]

>Think of it as the backgrounds constantly changing around the two of them, showing important moments in the film series’ history, but apparently confined to backgrounds of past lightsaber duels.

I guessed right. I didn't even read the MakingStarWars stuff. Remember few posts back: I wrote "What if the flashbacks takes place during the old lightsaber duels?" And I even wrote that during the TBS showing of ROTJ. So far I'm 2-0 alongside the Skywalker lineage.

The super big one: Rey is a Palpatine. Yep, she is Emperor Palpatine’s granddaughter.

Great-Granddaughter actually. If you read the Disney comics, you'd know that Palpatine helped give birth to Anakin which in turn helped sire Luke Skywalker. Like I said, the whole saga is now one big happy family feud.

Didn't Lucas say that's exactly what it was, like back in the early 80's?

Except that Palpy wasn't related to the Skywalker family until WAY after the Prequels was done.

Back then the OT was seen as a father vs son issue.

Just so everyone knows I have cleaning up and expanding content into this topic and the forum's topics in general. The above post by SI was originally was posted in the MF Front Page Reports forum and moved here.

Captain Walker's and Freezus' posts info attributed to MSW that was not purely MakingStarWars info but from originated 4chan which used some MSW info and combined with other site's info. MSW has gotten partial info on their own, such as Lost Sith Fleets and The Dagger however all of their reports mostly feature JediPraxis plot along with their own info + their daily rumors supposedly sent to them.

The StarWarsLeak's moderator "JediPraxis" should be taken seriously as that subreddit has been consistently posting major leaks for Rise of Skywalker (and The Last Jedi before) such as the Concept Art image and the Product Art Poster image. A lot of ki adi moonshine repeats the JediPraxis plot although it is not known how much was independently heard or how from Praxis was included for reference.

The ki adi moonshine - now MF'ed plot info has issues which raises legitimate questions:

• "Rey and Ben Solo are twins. Rey was frozen in some manner and didn’t age - hence the biological age difference."

I believe Rey is a Solo (Skywalker-Solo) which could make Palpatine her Grandfather. Episode III's Tragedy of Darth Plagueis opera scene clearly meant to raise the question of "Did Palpatine force inseminate Shmi?". Just as the Dooku Duel scene Palpatine mentions the Sandpeople Massacre which meant to raise the question "Did Palpatine provoke the Sandpeople to kidnap Shmi to provoke Anakin?". There is also another scenario where "Palpatine" (or The Son) Force-inseminated some random with Rey which would also make her related to Palpatine (or The Son).

The question here is the FROZEN REY portion.

• Palpatine is Not Palpatine: The Son

For VII and VIII - Not Palpatine was Snoke, a way for DisneyLucasfilm to reference a IP asset (The Emperor) which could not be used or so thought could not be used. Would Disney risk the public's wrath by teasing an appearance by Palpatine only for the movie to reveal it was The Son all along? The Son being from a animated series which was broadcast over a decade ago. Recall when Solo A Star Wars Story was released: Maul's appearance caught the public off guard as many were not familiar with The Clone Wars series. Then there is the matter of both Lucas and McDiarmid statements on the Emperor being dead and not coming back alive or in (Force) spirit.

Regardless ki adi moonshine should also be taken seriously given their time here and at theforce.net along with info that was posted here first then featured in JediPraxis plot posts this month.

Yeah, I thought the report from MSW matched a lot of what was in that 4chan leak from way back.

Anyway, JediPaxis is posting his info in a chronological format broken into three acts.

He posted Act II today.

If accurate, a heartbreaking C-3PO scene.

Would you happen to have the 4chan link or info?
I am not opposed to posting 4chan rumors as I was a early adopter of the Mizzlewump info during the VII era:

DarthPsychotic - Let me make it clear to everyone right here, right now. There is no confusion here - I made an educated guess when I wrote that post. I don't even visit 4chan or its sister sites. I would rather be impaled through my chest with a lightsaber than to visit these Trump-loving sites. Are we clear now? Yes? Good.

Well I went to go source the info and could not find it in the format posted here. Since ">" was used in the post I assumed the origin was from 4chan or a Youtube transcript. Just trying to make sure source is accurate with the right info is used and credited. 4chan and Reddit are used as information dumping grounds so every now and then real stuff originates there.

Also I just re-read this thread paying particular attention to ki's posts. ki mentioned Rey receiving Han's 1977 medal from Leia along with her ring. The D23 footage features Leia holding the medal. Handing the medal off to Rey seems more logical than using it as some sort of object to mourn Han over.

Regarding Palpatine, at last April's Celebratoin during the The Phantom Menace twentieth anniversary panel, Ian McDiarmid made the Emperor is dead remarks:

"'Is he...?' And before I could even finish the sentence. 'Dead, yes.' 'Well, couldn't he perhaps...' 'No. He's dead.' 'Well, wouldn't it be interesting if...?' 'Forget it.'" - Ian McDiarmid discussing Palpatine's return with Lucas.

It is strange that ki has a lot of information regarding the Son and Matt Smith.

Nothing from MSW or JediPaxis on that subject.

But the latter's post regarding the third act should be key.

Early talk was that Smith was a Knight of Ren already possessed by Palpatine's disembodied spirit.

But that lost traction once it came out that Ian is in the film.

Captain, Not only that Ki claimed that Palpatine in his words is, "Dead, dead."

Yet all of the latest reports contradicts that and not only that, he seems to be back in the flesh and Ki just disappeared completely right after these reports were leaked and now no one is saying anything about the Son and all that stuff...Makes you wonder.

Kyle... chill. Sure I criticize Abrams or Rian Johnson but it's not something that makes me want to sell my collection (they're in plastic bins.) You know why? Because Episode 1-6 will always be there for me and I will always be entertained by these movies. Your rage-fueled hate for the Abrams era trilogy is what will alienate other people from wanting to associate with you. SO CHILL. Remember everyone hated the PT.. 20 years later there's a large segment of SW Fandom that thinks that it's a work of art.

My 8 year old has watched every Clone War, Rebels, etc. cartoon. I asked him who the Son was and he had no idea. What demographic do you guys think the Mortis story line would reach? 10% of the star wars fan base? I guarantee the makers of these films do not care about that group.

Part 3 of the reddit spoiler report is up.

This movie is going to suck

ACT III

[Ahch-To]

Following her experience on the Death Star, Rey returns to the island on Ahch-to. Throughout the course of the film she has given in to her aggression, nearly killed her friend by unleashing a stream of lightning on a ship, learned that she is the descendant of the Sith Lord who reduced the Jedi to numbers that they have yet to recover from even half a century later, saw a vision of herself as a servant of darkness and stabbed her enemy through the chest in anger. Her most recent encounter with Kylo was the last straw and Rey has now made the decision to follow the example set by Luke and exile herself on the island where the Jedi began. Rey scuttles the ship she stole from Kylo and throws the repaired lightsaber originally constructed by Anakin Skywalker in after it. A ghostly hand snatches the lightsaber out of thin air as it's being thrown. It's Luke Skywalker. Luke’s conversation with Rey is said to be encouraging yet realistically grim in tone. Luke knows first hand what it’s like to face Palpatine and that it’s not an easy task. Rey must confront Palpatine in the same way that Luke once had to confront Vader. Luke encourages Rey by telling her of the faith Leia had in her. She saw the potential within her and hoped that Rey would be able to restore balance to the Force once more just as Anakin once did. Rey supposedly asks to speak to Leia at one point, but Luke responds by telling her that Leia has not yet completed her training and he can not yet feel her distinctive consciousness within the Force. By the end of their conversation, Rey is reenergized for the seemingly insurmountable task that lies ahead of her and agrees to leave the island. Having destroyed the ship she used to come to Ahch-to, Luke raises his own X-wing (previously seen submerged in the coves of the island) to allow Rey to face Palpatine. In addition to the starfighter, Luke gifts Rey with a lightsaber that once belonged to Leia. He tells her how Leia left her saber with Luke when she stopped training and Luke kept it on him. He then points Rey to where he kept it safe in his hut. Rey boards the X-wing, armed with the coordinates for Palpatine’s location obtained from Vader’s wayfinder and leaves the planet.

[The Resistance’s Jungle Base]

After returning to the jungle base, several things happen. After seeing the sacrifice made by 3PO, R2 reveals that he has a backup of C-3PO’s memories in his archives and is able to restore the droid to a mostly whole state. My sources believe this backup memory to have been created sometime around the time of The Force Awakens. It’s an older C-3PO, but it’s better than no 3PO at all. Lando reenters the story, having changed his mind, coming to the Jungle Base and wanting to help however he can. It is at this time that Rey begins transmitting coordinates into the Unknown Regions obtained from the wayfinder to the Resistance. The Resistance mobilizes, readying themselves for the impending conflict.

[The Unknown Regions- Exogol]

Rey follows the coordinates found in the wayfinder to the same spot Kylo did earlier in the film. Rey lands outside the giant cube floating above the ground and makes her way through the same underground passages. The cube, composed of black rock, floats several meters above the ground and is so massive that one corner can not be seen in frame when the camera is at another. As Rey travels down into the depths of the planet, giant Sith statues can be seen. Where Rey and Kylo’s experiences begin to differ come in with where Rey discovers Palpatine. Palpatine is not in the same chamber that Kylo discovered him in, but in a huge arena, surrounded by Sith loyalists in dark cloaks in the grandstands. Palpatine is being supported by some kind of mechanical arm, possibly connecting him to life support machinery. Rey begins to confront Palpatine. During this conversation Sideous reportedly confirms Rey’s lineage and goads her on to take up a lightsaber and strike him down (very much like how he encouraged Luke to do the same thing 30 years prior), telling her that only in killing him will she gain the power needed to save her friends. Palpatine also apparently makes statements alluding to the belief that Vader could not betray Luke due to their familial bond and that same kind of bond would ultimately cause Rey to do what the Emperor wishes. During his taunts, the sickly Sith opens the roof of the stadium chamber revealing that the sky above is filled with Star Destroyers soon to be embroiled in conflict with the approaching Resistance. As the battle between the First Order/Empire and the Resistance begins to rage in the skies above them, Rey gives into the Emperor’s commands and decides to strike him down.

Through means that are still a bit foggy to me, Ben Solo was able to leave the wreckage of the Death Star and his former persona behind and travel to Exogol with the purpose of joining Rey to help her face down Sidious. Before leaving the Death Star wreckage, Ben abandoned Kylo’s lightsaber so now he’s walking into a warzone with no weapon. When he arrives on the planet, he encounters the Knights of Ren who are guarding the entrance to the arena where Rey and Sidious are. Ben reportedly dispatches each of them using only the Force. After doing this he enters the arena as Rey is about strike the Emperor using Leia’s blade. Ben grabs Anakin’s lightsaber and warns Rey to reconsider what she is about to do, to not kill the Emperor in anger. Seeing Ben arrive pleases Sideous. He then uses his power to bond them together and begins to syphon power from that bond and direct it into himself. As the power flows into him, the once silky and decrepit Palpatine stands tall and strong once again, restoring himself to a much younger, healthier state.

[The Skies over Exogol]

While all this action is happening on the ground, much more explosive events are happening in the sky. The Resistance and the First Order are locked in battle. The details I have on what happens during this branch of the plot are a bit sparse at the moment, but here’s what I have been told. The Resistance arrives and they are confronted with hundreds of Palpatine’s Sith Star Destroyers. Their goal is to take out the flagship of the destroyers, where General Pryde is located. Taking out the flagship will supposedly sever communications with the rest of the fleet and prevent them from being able to navigate the perils of the Unknown Regions. At one point during the battle Finn and Jannah (joined by others, but exactly who is not clear to me right now) land on Pryde’s flagship to destroy it. They recognize this as essentially a suicide mission but Finn and Jannah in particular see the price they may have to pay as wort it to prevent more children from being abducted like they once were. One of my sources described it to me like a D-Day type mission for the Resistence where they attempt to land on to a moving Star Destroyer amidst the battle scene.

Having returned to full strength, Palpatine then shoots lightning into Ben, forcing him to fall into a bottomless abyss, never to be seen again. Sideous then shoots lightning into the sky at Resistance ships. He reportedly continues to make statements about how Rey will join him. In defiance of this, Rey grabs both Anakin’s and Leia’s lightsabers and Palpatine turns his wrath on her. It’s lightsaber vs. lightning at this point and when it seems like all hope is lost for Rey, the spectors of Luke and Leia come to her aid. They jointly work toward overpowering the Emperor, deflecting his lightning back toward himself, killing him and unleashing an explosion powerful enough to make the arena start to crumble around them. Darth Sideous, the last of the Sith Lords, is finally dead. At this same time Finn and Jannah complete their mission and succeed in destroying Pryde’s flagship. The two are prepared to go down with the ship, but are rescued at the last second by the Falcon. Rey escapes the crumbling arena.

[The Resistance’s Jungle Base]

Having won the day, the survivors of the battle regroup at the jungle base and celebrate. What follows is apparently celebration across the galaxy, once again mirroring what is seen at the end of Return of the Jedi.

[Tatooine]

For the end of the film, the heroes then travel to where everything began. The desolate, sandswept planet of Tatooine. Between defeating Sidious and this moment, Rey has disassembled Anakin and Leia’s lightsabers and used their components to construct one of her own that I’m told contains a golden/yellow blade. Rey buries the leftover pieces beneath the Tatooine sands at the site of the Lars homestead. As Rey turns to join Finn, Poe, Jannah, Chewie, R2, 3PO, BB-8 and D-0, a stranger calls out to her. The stranger apparently speaks of how nobody has been seen around this land for a very long time and asks Rey for her name. This is the second time in the film that this question has been posed to her, but unlike her response on Pasaana, Rey has decided who she is. She gives the name Rey Skywalker to the stranger, adopting the name of her masters and revealing the primary meaning of the title of the film. As Rey begins to rejoin her friends, she catches a glimpse of some familiar glowing figures, watching over her. The assembly of heroes look off into the distance at the horizon of the desert planet and watch twin suns set on a universe filled with hope.

The End.

Honestly, I don't care how it ends because Disney have admitted to fucking Lucas over. It's like for most of your life, you've loved it as your son then your wife gets a divorce, then you see the new husband treats his new stepson shitty. It's like that with Star Wars. I don't LOVE it as I used to now I know about Iger admitting that he fucked Lucas over. Now I know to me, Episodes 1-6 and Rogue One only exists to me, I have started to give away all my TFA merchandise. Now I have no desire to read both the TFA and TLJ novelizations and will be selling these soon. I'm going to go see TROS just to see how it ends. But I won't be wearing any Star Wars clothing, I'm going to wear my regular clothing because I'm not happy with what Iger did to Star Wars. I don't love it the way I used to.

4 billion dollars based on a bunch of lies they told George Lucas. You think he cares about the money? I mean, if he knew Disney was gonna treat his baby shitty, he would have sold the whole thing to 20th Century Fox Pre-Disney for a fraction of what Disney was paying for. At least Fox understood how to treat SW properly. (See: Their ownership of A New Hope)
