Something is brewing. We all feel it. Some are in denial. Why lock all of your comments, which is engagement, which drives the google algorithm? It makes no sense unless they're preparing for some massive backlash or something. And this coincides with the release the JJ cut trending at like number 1 on twitter. people are pissed.

There is a separate official Star Wars You Tube channel called Star Wars Kids. They have the Force for Diversity and Galaxy of Adventures animation series and the other stuff aimed at the kids.
ki adi moonshine wrote:I don't buy it with a franchise that has been PG-13 for the past 15 years and would have been back in the 80s as well. Also, the dismemberments. The Marvel channel isn't disabled so your point is moot.
Nintendo is primarily for kids if you want to be technical, though I love my switch and nintendo games, and their comments are up and running.
Nope. Sorry just nope.

"George Lucas has said Star Wars was made for 12-year-olds."
Not sure how you guys are trying to pigenhole that sentence into this bizarre argument, but it's one area he's been incredibly consistent on for many years.

Yet, Jedi Fallen Order still made bank is one of the Top 5 rated SW games on EA. You only want Star Wars to move away from kids because you think “SW for kids, bad. SW fro adults with R rating and blood and gore and violence, good”.

That’s a different story because it was TV-PG-V, not TV-14 or TV-MA.

Fallen Order is incredible. You are twisting my words. It's just ridiculous that Disney mandated no dismemberment of people when SW has a history of beheadings, hands getting chopped off, etc. ANH, ESB, ROTJ, TPM, and AOTC were rated PG and had dismemberments. All of them.
I do not want SW to move away from GL's vision. I don't want an R rated SW. I don't like blood and gore either.
Try harder child.

TV-PG-V is basically PG-13, did you know that?

You try harder to be clearer in your words, emo boy.
It's one thing to disable comments for a single video, another to disable comments for EVERY SINGLE VIDEO SPANNING THE CHANNEL'S HISTORY! And what you're saying is a logical fallacy... It's costing them money.
