Wow, what set off 'ol Nancy Boy Freezus here? Aside from his unnecessary rambling, I'm really looking forward to the sound experience on the Blu-ray. I'm glad to hear (pun intended) that the audio has the attention to detail I expected. Thanks for the feedback.

Maybe because I encounter narrow-minded bigots like you all the time? I will not shed a tear nor feel sympathy for whenever you have children and they develop a disability and you will frantically try find a solution to "cure" these children. You know why? Bad karma is coming for you and everyone else who openly discriminated against me.

I watched the blu-ray tonight and was amazing by the excellent sound design in this film. For audiophiles, this is a demo disc for sure.

I especially enjoyed the clarity of the dialogue, where I was able to hear the incredibly nuanced Rey "force back" sequence. Loved the call out to Palpatine's dialogue, as well as a few gems from Obi-wan.

Anybody else really enjoy the sound in TFA?

Beyond the sound quality, what was more noticeable to me was the sound effects themselves, particularly in the weapons. There seemed to be more "punch" to many of the weapon sound effects. Kylo Ren's saber, Chewie's bowcaster and the quad-lasers that fired at Poe and Finn when they were flying the Special Forces TIE Fighter early in the film.
