I think he'll use it; especially if Yoda/Mace have no effect from Force Lightening as seen in AotC.

I doubt it'd be visible under all his sack cloth robes unless he actually reached for it and used it.

Who was it that reported Sidious as having a slow, plodding style of fighting just recently?

Anyone notice that handle is ... um ... lacking?

It's short. It looks like a one-handed design. There's no way you could comfortably grab on with two hands.

So, my guess is this is just the Old Sith's Turkey Knife.

I hope so! I hope it ends as a tie. I just don't like the fact of Yoda losing. Perhaps Sidious not even trying but taking care of Yoda would be good.

Just remember that Sidious has to win in a way that makes him and Anakin/Vader believe that Yoda is dead.

I feel that this is why Vader always refers to Obi-Wan teaching Luke. I have no doubt that Vader knows that Obi-Wan escapes and survives.

He (Vader) must think Yoda dead.

I can forsee Palpatine dropping rubble onto Yoda and thinking he's been crushed. Another way to go is a Force-push out of a window in the Jedi Temple.

My point is that Vader never assumes Kenobi to be dead.

It is not the same for Yoda. Why does Vader never mention him?

The belief has to be that Yoda doesn't get away.
