I genuinely thought Giacchino was gonna nab this one too. Man's a machine. Or, rather: He's more machine now, than man.

I really don't know Powell's work at all. I guess it's time to get acquainted!

If it were that remarkable we'd know his name by now. Long resume.

I'm only familiar with him through the 1998 animated film, Antz. Pretty good music but he partnered with another composer on that one.

At this point, I completely expect the final title of this film to be "Untitled Han Solo Film."

They should just do that.

Or simply, "Untitled."

The title reminds me of The Adventures of Mutt, but I’m genuinely stoked for the 1st track. It will be interesting to hear whether Williams composed this with the tone of the original score/scores in mind e.g. perhaps incorporating existing cues into a symphonic theme... or whether it sits with his more contemporary sensibilities.
