 THESE IMAGES DO NOT COME FROM FUCKING HYPERSPACE

Thanks to MF's DarthFirst for getting this to us! :heavymetal:

As Thundercracker pointed out, Vader is wearing a shackle on his wrist on the leftside of the screen.

are you sure ? It doesn't look right, almost out of proportion. Perhaps the hand in shackle thing is actually part of the chair he is sitting in ?

I'm loving this one. :monocle:

http://www.wallhacker.com/NotForFuckingTFN/BirthOfVaderKickAss.jpg

It's like Palpatine doesn't quite know how he's going to react to the news about Padme and that's why he's shackled.

At least, that's how I take that picture. :heavymetal:

The whole gay Jedi/Sith debate has just expanded - Bondage Vader.

Lucas must've seen the Matrix movies. I'll bet the Wachowski's will be the first in line now. They'll be dissapointed in the lack of the visit to an S&M bar.

I don't know about all of you; but, I'm getting a "I'm not so sure I'm going to like seeing Anakin's fall" feeling the closer we get to the release date. I do think the movie is going to ROCK and it may be the best SW yet; but, poor little Ani. I hope this feeling holds true. I can't wait to watch RotJ after seeing III.

Georgie said that III was the darkest and it looks like it is going to go well beyond that. If the last shot is truly the three of them looking out the Star Destroyer window, I can only imagine the general publics reaction when leaving the theater. Perhaps GL will have a last second change of heart and switch the delivery of Luke to Tatooine with the Star Destroyer similar to switching Palpatine's overview of the troops with the wedding in AotC? I hope not. GL second guess himself too much anyway.

I don't quite understand /how/ he's shackled though - look at the angle of the hand. Unless he has his arms crossed over his chest, like this:

http://www.yourlost.com/Sigs/uploads/vaderbirth.gif

But even that looks a bit odd, seeing as the hand seems to be behind him in the photo.

Seems to me like his arms are bent at the elbow.

Anyway, can't wait to see more from this clip. :)

Doesn´t look like his hand (if it´s his) is attached to his body, it looks to far off compared to the rest of him. Probably not attached yet, and lying on a table or something...

I agree on the poor Ani thing. This movie is going to be dark. (Yeah, I know,...yada yada...)

I bet this is the "you killed her" part.......and then, stand back Palps. :spawnskull:

Yeah that's what I noticed, Ktulu. With my monitor the brightness turned up to a reasonable level (i.e. a level the human eye can see things at) it became pretty clear.

It looked out of proportion because it was anamorphically "stretched" from the DVD. This is how it should look:

The movement of Vaders head certainly implies some dialogue. I wasn't entirely sure if it would be Hayden without the helmet on asking where Padme is or with the helmet on with James Earl Jones providing his voice. But I guess it's James Earl Jones.

When are we getting the wider shot from SDCC that shows the rest of the set?

It looks exactly like the birth of Vader concept art that came out several months ago.

Anyone else remember back when sites like AICN and TFN wasn't scared to post this stuff? Has Lucas ever sued fan site? I use to run a Natalie Portman site and put up hyerpspace pictures. I would get those email from Lucasfilms also. But they never did anything

Very cool.

His is in essence a white boy becoming James Earl Jones. The transformation is complete. Palpatine puts the soul in ya and you're down to play the blues.
