Yeah well, it does make sense because Nat was worried it would hurt her Star Wars Image and discourage parents from taking their kids to the theatres next year or prevent parents from buying ROTS on DVD because of Nat's "bad girl" roles that she sometimes play.

That's because American Parents are like, "Ewan who?" while Nat is more locally known through North America and Isreal.

I'm sure most parents of today who had just started having children in the last 5, 6, 7 years knew Nat from The Professional considering they most likely were my age in 1994.

Ewan was never a big star not by a long shot. If he was, he would have been in a shitload of hollywood movies not 3 or 4 movies since TPM came out. Nat starred in far more movies than Ewan ever did, tracing back to 1994's The Professional. Kiera just started in America, She captialized on the American success of TPM and rode on that success through Bend It Like Beckham and Pirates of the Caribbean. So Kiera's nude scenes pre-dates her American debut thus making your point moot. Samuel Jackson was doing movies ever since the 80's;both R-rated and family-oriented. If Nat didn't give a shit about SW and Revenge of the Sith, Lucas could have fired her a long time ago and replaced her with Kiera since Kiera credits Lucas for her recent success (see: A episode of the Tonight Show in late June where she traces her success back to TPM with Jay Leno) so If Nat were to be fired right now, Nat wouldn't give a shit, Kiera would have played the role of Padme like a glove and reshot all of Nat's acting because she loved doing SW. Lucas almost fired Nat, He would fire her at any given moment's notice and rehired Kiera within a heartbeat.

I agree.... I'd applaud the minute Lucas ever decides to replace Nat with Kiera since Kiera loves SW, and enjoys working with Lucas....

The difference is that Nat's the bad chicken that doesn't respect Lucas while Kiera is the good chicken that enjoys SW and having worked with Lucas.

Nevermind that Trainspotting is a cult classic, and Moulin Rouge and Big Fish were huge features that he was a main actor in. Not to mention a decent role in Black Hawk Down. But no, that's nothing compared to a lead in Where the Heart Is or Anywhere but Here, or even a supporting role in Cold Mountain.

Try asking people which movies they know/like better out of those two sets. Even if you ask teenage girls with low brain cell counts who actually watch movies like Where the Heart is they'll still pick the set with Moulin Rouge. Ewan McGregor wins.
